What value do you place on life? Regardless of age (with the exception of self defense) so you really think 15 years is enough "time served" for the taking of a life as young as Sean Luke's? Especially given the manner in which this child was murdered.

Valid point, and the law is the law exactly as you said.

Unfortunately, the law is too lenient and criminal favoring which brings anger and pain to many. Just as we cannot control the law, we cannot control the emotions of humans. Do the crime, and the automatic human reaction can be forgiving or full of vengeance.

A portion of society wants to see “fair justice” and rehab whilst the other portion, in addition to “justice”, want the same that others did, be done onto them.

We are just too lenient with criminals and they take full advantage of it.
