Big improvement with Flow.

Blink used to work extremely well but the line developed a *ahem*...fault...and remained faulty for more than 12 months.

Needless to say the service just got worse, so it was a forced change really.

No regrets with the decision.

Always had Flow after Dial Up, no problems.
Once or twice I got issues and realized it was my wireless router!

had Blink for 1 year...canceled contract as soon as the year was up.
I had called Blink at least once every month or so and it was always some problem.
I switched to Flow...never had to call once...9 months and counting.

I have both and Flow seems to deliver closer to spec- during the day I get what I pay for -non work hrs it drops off a bit but is still satisfactory-and everybody in the townhouses is running on my service-about 7 laptops.
Even when there is a problem with the cable and therefore inet and phone-it everything comes back up.

Flow is alot more stable.
TSTeif We still figuring out the phone problems.

Blink NEVER has tested at what we pay for.
The service is fo shyte

Flow FTW

thanks for d answers so far - some of u have a location listed in ur profile so i can get a idea of where u from & how d service is in that area

now so some ppl claim that blink gives u a "dedicated" line so u always getting near d package u payed for & flow gives u a "shared" service meaning if alot of ppl in ur area using d net at d same time u will get less usable bandwidth meaning ur net will work slower - is this true or a bunch of BS ??? .....so say for ex d "4mb" from tstt vs d "10mb" from flow : is it that d 10 will kinda boil down to like d 4 ??? ... :?

the service is good to great in terms of internet , minor issue and the help desk was able to sort it out or guide me through it , or some old school tuners who i know :D

However i digress , their cable service absolutely sucks , the recent change in the package combination has had me thinking whether cable is in fact even necessary in my present home and any future home. What has me really fuming is the removal of discovery turbo and some other channels from the flow fanatic line up , take very serious :wtf: for what ever the moves they make for average subscriber packages pure BS

flow dont make you sign contract (as far as i know) so you could try it for a month if it available in your location and then decide.

In felecity, flow service has been great so far, apart from the normal slow down in speed between 6-9pm, speed is great, currently have the 2 Mb which flow is upgrading to 5Mb for a 10$ increase. The only time flow gave problems is when it had a thunder shower last month and had some lightening activity. But even then service was restored 4 hrs later.

I find Blink 1Mb though has lower latency and streams movie better than flow 2Mb.
But for d/l torrents, flow ftw, I get speeds of 180-190 kbs on well seeded torrents.

I have 5 laptops, 1 desktop and two phones on a 2Mb and so far it holding out.
To get past the streaming issue I use miro tv http://www.getmiro.com/
Sometimes when you feel your ISP giving trouble, it may that there dns server are slow
use dnsbench http://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm to test your dns servers.
Select the three best dns servers and add them to your router. Enable dns caching http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/DN ... HCP_server and you good to go.
Also you can enable qos so that one app cannot tie up your connection. http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Quality_of_Service

I used to have the 10Mbps package but it used to upset me a lot because the dam thing used to be sticking when using youtube and all. It only worked well for downloading.
