Talk has it pricesmart sells alot of refurbished items...so how can i tell if an item is factory refurbished.The packaging seems new and untouched when i visited the store today.By the way i just move in my house sooo i thought i would shop at this store..any advise for this young girl

u need to shop around.... don't limit yourself to just pricesmart........try fens, unique, comfort zone, ds maraj, courts etc.. help me out here ppl

refurbished items normally have a stamp on the product itself
Or they give you a warranty card stating that this item has been refurbished

somehow i feel now might not be d best time to shop in any store since most of them wud have sold out all d better models & just have a few on display...i say hold on til mth end to see if new stocks arrive ....

I've bought a lot of stuff from pricemart, and their guarantee is hassle free, unlike others. No fridges and stoves though. Check comfort zone for stoves, excellent guarantee also.

purchased a fridge, TV and DVD player there in addition to small appliances and no issues whatsoever thus far
