How old is it?

Why you selling?

What's the asking price?

Forgive the questions... Just going through the normal routine.

Gents,
I have a Harman Kardon AVR 1610 5.1 home theater receiver that has a flashing amber light that indicates it is going into protect mode. Tried the reset and disconnected all wires to speaker and HDMI cables but the problem persists. Can someone recommend a person to fix this piece of equipment.
Thanks.

Aye audio nerds:
Can I connect the sub-out on a receiver to a second amp via rca? Would it be a low pass signal if it is possible?

A powered sub has an amp on it so I guess you can connect it to another amp.
Yes it will be LFE (low frequency effects) from the receiver

Any recommendations for someone to repair a Receiver? Plus any good options for new or used ones to buy?

Afternoon guys, seeking some advice here. I have an old Sony BDVe3100 unit that recently died on me, the specs are as follows;
https://www.sony.com/electronics/suppor ... ifications

I'm currently looking at purchasing this head unit,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B079YW5V ... 0DER&psc=1

Would I be able to power the old Sony speakers from the new head unit if I clip the factory plug connectors, or will this damage the new headunit / old speakers?

The new receiver will be able to power the front, rear and center channel speakers, you will have to cut the plugs off the wires, but the subwoofer from the e3100 is not powered and so you will either need an amp for it or buy a powered sub.

Hey Tuners,
Hope all is doing well.
I need some direction sourcing this part or advice please.
I purchased a soundbar from PriceM a while aback, model HW-N650 (link included)

https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions- ... w-n650-za/

Since purchasing it was never able to connect via HDMI or Optical but only through BT. After the year of warranty, upon reaching Volume level 50 the subwoofer would power off and PRT would be displayed on the soundbar "screen".

I contacted Samsung but they advised to update the firmware which did not work.
Eventually I carried it to a repair technician and they said that the power board was overheating and recommended sourcing a new one ---> Samsung AH-94-00013R, A9400013R,HW-N650/XU,HWN650XU, Main PCB.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or can you recommend a course of action.
Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, where repairs harman stuff? need to get the capacitors replaced on mine.

It powers on and cuts off with the standby light just blinking. Started doing that some time now and did some research pin pointing it to that particular issue.

I don't think there's a dealer locally - probably just take it to a technician and see if they can replace the caps for you - you might be able to get it at Gopauls or Montrose Electronics

I'm sure you can do that yourself. It's not that hard.

Looking for someone to install a 55"TV in a concrete wall in the POS area. Wall mount already purchased from Pricesmart. Any professionals out there that can help?

it's easy to install yourself - just get a hammer drill and some anchor bolts

So I opened the hk reciever and cleaned it up, inspected the insides.

Caps looked good. So I plugged it on. Instant arcing near where the ground wire connected.

Didn't see exactly where so I plugged it on again.

There is no response to powering on and there is voltage leaving the power supply..

Recommend someone?

Cleaned it with alcohol after.

Has a chip nearby that looks like it arced.
