St James Licensing Office - Worse In History

The licensing office in St. James is simply the worse place to do you renewals. Ironically, at one point this was a very customer based place and renewal were quick and prompt â€“ within Â½ hour one could usually expect to get through.

Bright and early Monday 9th November 2009 I made my way down to this branch where I proceeded to begin the process of renewing my license. It was utmost hell.

I arrived there @ 7am and never left till 230pm. Hostility, lack of organization, lack of training, discourteous treatment, poor facilities with malfunctioning air-conditioning, licensing clerks who feel they are Gods and adopting the attitude as such, hog-face,

Jahâ€¦.This freaking place is really really the worse.

Billions wasted all over and important services are in a mess.

We voting PNM next elections for sure and forever.

POS office had a birthday party going on while approximately 60 PPL waiting to go by the cashier. A man pull out he phone & record them.........when someone saw.........."look he taping we".........and they trying to hide. Cake & ice-cream & singing "happy birthday" at 1:00PM....oh gosh ppl do that after 4PM please.

Now after everybody done eat cake & ice-cream the chief clerk come out & say..."anybody waiting to see the chief clerk"...2 times & then say ...."ok"........take out the roll of numbers & say "like allyuh eh no today is friday or wah"

I wonder if d man post it on you tube?

soldier u eh reach Arima yet.. anything to do in that office, make sure and take a day off from work.

I used to leave Arima to come St. James cuz everything was faster.

I love how having one bad experience in a place where service is usually great makes it the worst in history.

I got in there around 10am and got through about 4 minutes later in the St.james branch a month ago.

The key to getting your license fast is not to go early, around 9.30 - 10am is good time....

I live a block away and know how the early morning influx can be. monday morning is worse. try and leave it for tues if u can monday it's like a mad house

okay its tuesday and i been here since 10:30.....only about ten ppl got thru so far so 50 more waitin so is not one bad experience

I forgot to mention they opened 10am today for some reason and still closed for lunch

Went this morning too, saw people lined up outside just after 10:00am, spun the car around, passed back, saw no one outside this time, parked car, went inside, saw people lined up.

Went Wrightson Road, even more people inside, photo room have so much people some were waiting outside the photo room.

Went back to work.
