They should've beat Inter at the San Siro and could not convert-sign of things to come!

Utd lost the game with thier starting lineup...Berba and Ronaldo up front when Tevez and Rooney both had tremendous records vs Fulham...
Scholes got a red card for 'saving' the ball with his hand..
Rooney was stupidly given a red card for throwing the ball back for a free kick...clear victimisation by the ref and hopefully it'll be rescinded...
Other than that...the team played absolute rubbish in the first half and deserved to lose...when rooney came on in the second half they dominated but schwarzer pulled some saves out of his a$$ there that were like whoa :shock:

Either way...poor performance...desevred to lose...still a decent lead which is good but hopefuly the international break comes at the right time...

The Chelsea game...check skysports.com for Hiddink's post match comments...he was funing with his players as he thought they laid back for too long...

The sad thing is that even though ManU practically telling Chelsea to take the title they incapable of doing it..which is why the only serious challenge to ManU is Liverpool. Lets see if they can make it very interesting with an Aston Villa win.

Thats not what he got the red for. That was a yellow and he was already on a yellow for pulling down a player when he got dispossessed. While he is an excellent player, Rooney is insolent fool who can never accept a referee's decision if it doesn't go in his favour. He has gotten away with it many times in the past but it seems the referees have taken note and are clamping down on this. And of course when you have that sort of reputation it precedes you just like Ronaldo with the diving issue.

But I agree that was a horrible performance by Utd and an equally bad one from Chelsea. They were toothless and looked very tired. Credit to Spurs though, they were really up for the game and deserved to win as did Fulham but they really did nothing special with Utd performance being so poor. They just didn't look themselves. We'll have to wait and see if Liverpool can do what Chelsea couldn't and capitalize on this slip up.

I know...but that should never have been a second yellow...the ball was not thrown back anywhere naer to the referee...it was a straight throw directly back to Giggs....Phil Dowd has always victimised Rooney and this is just another in a long line of bad decision against him...
And increase his ban? Players shove the workers out of the way, ala John Terry and Steven Gerrard, and in the case of the previous his red card was rescinded for what was clearly a horrible tackle, and you think this one should be extended? lol :lol:
