Anyone has any African cichlids haplochomis for sale? Please message or call me 7856499. Not really interested in mbunas or peacocks so much.

I got mine in 100 gal glass aquarium and yes they look good. I am not sure of the variety but they are usually imported from South America. If you are serious about inquiring further Contact chai’s exotic fish farm in Mausica.

Yet to see anyone actually go through the trouble of obtaining a bonafide asian arowana which are illegal to obtain in the US. Most are indeed obtained from south america, namely the silver arowana as well as the black. Some persons have brought in jardinii's as well. However, much of the coloured varieties you see on sale are produced by a cruel practice of dying where the slime coat is degraded using an acid dip and then dyed. The colors are temporary, however the effects on the fish's immune system is lasting which often results in them getting sick and prone to all manner of infections. You'll often see them marketed as strawberry or blueberry aros.

That cruelty is madness. Can’t picture any pet owner supporting that if they are aware. Thanks for sharing

Looking for a small aquarium setup for my son. What do you all have to sell or recommend a store with light cover etc. The best so far is 242 dollars.

Not necessarily, as long as the water is properly filtrated (over filtration), and over aeration, algae will not prosper. I have successfully done it with no issues.

This person lives not too far from me. I have 4 6 ft tanks which I was contemplating putting in front my house at a time, but as another guy pointed out here, I fraid some wicked person pelt a big stone. My tanks safely under my house.

Contrary to popular belief, a PROPERLY running tank does not actually need cleaning. As long as it is set up properly, with a good filtration system, bottom feeders (plecos), and aeration, the ONLY thing that really needs cleaning is the filtration system, NOT the tank.

I have 4, 6ft tanks running 8 years now. I clean the sump filtration 4 times a year, have about only 3 plecos that eat algae off the glass, so I have never had reason to clean my tanks. Water is crystal clear. One thing I do religiously though, I change 75% of water every 4 weeks.
