Code Geass is definitely the best of all time. Attack on Titan was slow in the beginning, but picked up coming down to the end. Wish they made another season though.

Anyone ever watched Freezing and Freezing: Vibrations? Was good, funny but leaned a bit towards the hentaish side imo. I started watching Knights of Sidonia on Netflix, but started getting bored after a few episodes.

Co-worker of mine was talking about Terra Formars.. says it real best. Wasn't that impressed from the one episode I saw.

Not into mango at all but holy crap, Code Geass and Death Note are by far a couple of the beset shows I have ever watched. Going to read out the DN manga now that I know it exists.

Recent series worth watching...

Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet
Aldnoah Zero
Parasyte: The Maxim

If you enjoyed Kill la Kill, and/or Attack On Titan, you'll find a lot to like in those series.

Scarlett seems to have a fondness for comic book movies and she's consistently likeable, so I want to see this.

An old one I discovered recently. Sakigake!!! Otokojuku.

It's an over the top martial arts comedy from before Japan embraced the foreign market for anime, so it's very odd.
edit: The premise is that this is a reform school for high school dropouts, so these characters are teenagers.

Don't want to dump this in the movie/series thread. Had no idea this was in the works. Hope it's a legit revival.

https://www.comingsoon.net/anime/news/1 ... me-revival

During Jump Festa ’22’s celebration this week, it was revealed that the iconic anime Rurouni Kenshin would be getting revived, with a brand-new anime project in the works.

The news came alongside a very brief teaser trailer, which showed Kenshin silhouetted against a dark background before a closeup of his face ended the trailer. You can check out the Rurouni Kenshin revival trailer below:

The revival will be handled by studio LIDENFILMS, which has worked on other anime including Tokyo Revengers and Blade of the Immortal. No official release information, or whether or not the original cast will return in any capacity, has been announced as of yet.

The original Rurouni Kenshin anime launched in 1996 and ran for 94 episodes including a variety of movies, specials, and even live-action films. “Japan is a land experiencing times of troubled peace and renewal after a long and bloody civil war,” reads the official synopsis for Rurouni Kenshin. “Swords and killing are outlawed, but all isn’t as it would seem. Lurking in the shadows are many survivors of the revolution awaiting their chance for vengeance. Only the former government assassin, Kenshin Himura, can keep the peace.”

There ain't much info out there on this remake tho, so we'll see soon enough yes. Demon Slayer was incredible. Think they're 4 eps into season 2 right now. That's the only one I'm currently following.

There was this one Chinese anime (Donghua I think they refer to it as) I came across and was blown away by it called Link Click. The soundtrack was just up there and it had a cool premise. So if I see any Chinese offerings again, I'd be more inclined to check some out.
