Luckily that bolt fell out in the car on the drive home, but clearly it was on the verge of falling out on the trail
So loctite is on the shopping list this week

Niterider. No doubt.
Check MCE Bike shop for one that fits your budget. Rechargeable, bright/strobe function, good enough to illuminate road at night like a car. No BS here.

I used cheaper ones that were pointless in the dark, but just good for basic flasher.

Push bikers on the road are a nuisance. It's time they be taken off the road and some sort of licence with test be given to bikers. They ride all over the road never stop at traffic lights. They are pest

Shimano is issuing a voluntary recall of some bonded 11-speed HOLLOWTECH II road cranksets produced before July 2019 for a possible bonding separation issue

Think it's abt 2.5M units in question.

Do your checks and stay safe.

If you guys had to choose between
a TREK and a FUJI for a beginner trail/ road casual riding bike, which would you choose for durability and reliability for both a teen size and full adult size?

take whichever one coming with better components.
Both have frames from low end to big budget so similarly priced options would have comparable quality.

Where possible, look for good brand components like shimano or sram. If you can get hydraulic disc brakes even better. Less maintenance.
