I have a few games, but find myself mostly playing Gears of War 2 and Street Fighter 4 online.

For some reason they block certain downloads for our region (and they check it based on your IP).

anybody played 1 Vs 100 d game show its free and in BETA mode right now i played it last night and enjoy its a set of Trivia.

Being restricted to game content has nothing to do with what year your xbox came out. Since the latest NXE( dashboard) microsoft has tightened their security on fake xbox live region users downloading content on the marketplace( i.e people used to put their location as US,UK, Japan to download content). Micrsoft no longer checks your listed region but your ip address so they will know that you not really from US
The region block occurs with more games rated 18+( don't know why) in countries where xbox live is not supported which is about half the world. Germany also suffers with this region restriction.
Nonetheless, there is no rule which can't be broken and many xbox live users took to their own measures to bypass this( hacking, shipping their systems to xbox live countries).
Fortunately doing my own digging(months) i have too bypassed this region restriction and now i own all my Gears of War2 map packs( all i had was 1600msp).I going and download mk3 ultimate next :lol:

my gow2 got a bad scratch cuz i shifted the system while it was running even though i saved it to the hard drive( damn game was lagging real bad so iwas going and pull out the ethernet cable).
So there anyone who has gow2 thats not in use or willing to sell theirs or trade? i really love that game and i really can't afford to buy a brand new 1..

thanks for the info, i never thought of that.. i did some research online on how to remove the circumferencial scratch what i got and i saw toothpaste, so in a desperate attempt i tried... now the whole disc is 1 big scratch now :evil:

I called Jk and they tild me bring it in.. Thanks for the info
