You should practice braid to mono connections, I always have a mono topshot at least 15 ft. Uni-uni is the easiest method and holds well. Mono allows for a little stretch when fighting fish and won't fold back and tangle on itself like braid rigs with long leaders, also allows for a better presentation.

That's wayy more complicated than the traditional japanese method of both improvised pr and fg by just making the cradle in between your index and middle finger and cross wrapping.

So went in the gulf today...
Ketch 2 tiny crocro and 1- 10" red fish and 1 12lb-ish crappofish...

Rel failure....

Plus i feel sick and vomit up the place and didnt try anymore...

My cousin ketch a huge catfish around 20lbs

And the rest of them kecth powa and catfish....

Worst fishing trip ever...

In case allyuh doh know, lemme inform allyuh...........

Fish does disappear the week before Good Friday.

I can't remember ever making a good tide Easter Week, so I not even bothering, is tin mackerel and provision for Good Friday.

I will start back to fish after Easter

lolol....went out Saturday....went behind one of them big tanker ships...so we didnt get the brunt of the waves...brethren caught 4 sharks, the yellow tipped one, and another fella caught a few 1-2 lb cro cro..then the ship turned.....and was all hell break loose....real choppy waters jed....ended up going Parliament and drop some line....caught some salmon and ling ling...pan sized......and then we caught some bigger salmon, 1-2 lb and fella caught a 2 grouper....same 1-2 lb ....and thats it....not a bad haul....but decent...

Fish does be hard around this time...i went out last weekend to bank, held bout 150lbs of salmon, some racando and mix fish...lost ah real big grouper too...

Well, there's always a chance with a line in the water, none when you're home contemplating! But for as long as I know, tradition holds fish doesn't bite good around easter, land based fishing that is. You always get one nice fish at the start and salt for the rest of the time.

Does be the worst when u feel u have some nice on yuh line and when u pull up some gargamel looking fish and it hook on that hard jaw :/
