Camera is a big deal for me, plus 4k is really nice.....yes im getting a 4k monitor.

4k monitors have gotten less expensive recently.

That alone worth the price. Stand alone 4k is 10times the price of an S5

Make sure and buy a memory card while you're at it. 4K video recording is as overrated as the camera MP race TBQH. a 1080p video is easily 200MB for a minute or two, imagine 4K. What's the point of so many MP and the quality of the photo is not up to par. Mind you, Samsung galaxy camera modules are superb! The module on the s2 rivals a lot of the current phones on the market to date in terms of point and shoot and ease of use capabilities.

In the market for a next tab.

7"

At least 1ghz processor and ram

Decent enough cam, I'd say 5mp

Gorilla glass

Basic web browsing it will be used for, occasional hangouts and no games. Fluid os is a must.

Had a galaxy tab 2, too laggy. Tab 3 looks good, does it have gorilla glass?

Nexus 7 is a contender.

Any others?

Bnib with warranty so nobody blow up my inbox please.

No Chinese tabs.

No heavy use intended so the s3 mini works pretty good for what it is. No heap of apps needed either. May upgrade to a moto g or s4 soon and the s3 mini handed to my ole man.

User is familiar with my 2013 nexus 7 but looking at all options before purchase. Does the galaxy tab 3 have gorilla glass because I seeing gsm arena saying yes but other sites saying no? Tab 3 seems to be readily available

Budget roughy US $200.00

I see nothing wrong with incremental upgrades to a phone. Makes a product better. the S5 didnt need to have anything revolutionary. Just a nice spec bump from the S4, and in this case an aesthetic
downgrade :(

the S5 Supporting 4k is not nothing.
4k is a great value add (as was said earlier). Most people have no use for it, but how else does something become a standard? someone has to start adopting it.

Yea 4k should be a standard but it ahead of it time because few device coming with anything 4k and to me it jus TOO soon more people not getting a 1080p tv LED TV/monitor!
This should have jus gone into production next year where more companies could have made devices 4k ready
And like seriously what are they doing to make sure that this new technology doesnt affect our eyes!?

How much 4k content is there available anyways?

I think you all missing the point.

Right now 4k cameras are unaffordable for most. Hence low 4k content.

Samsung is now changing this by putting 4k in their phones which are more afforadble than any 4k camera.

This in turn will allow the demand from manufacturers for more 4k monitors and phones.

Thus giving 4k a huge push.
