When the quality of of opposition is considered that record aint all that.
But that aside, lets be real here. Any body looking at T&T's games can clearly see that Stern is no longer a viable option for the STARTING striker. He does not have the pace, ball control or balance for that matter to match up with the opposition we continually face.
If you wanna go by his record fine, bring him on in the second half where his experience might be of some assistance if the younger guys can't get it done in the first.
How you expect the younger forwards to get scoring chances when they are continually benched in hopes of a great performance by Stern? More often than not he disappoints. When he's on he's good. But those moments are too few and far between to keep depending on him as our main attacking threat.
