If he changes his mindset, he's a little too arrogant to be that mentally stable to break it. But in a few years time i think he will

You really think they're up to it? I've been an aussie supporter for a long time, but I just don't know. Think the matches will be very competitive though.

ESPN2 bringing the India Sri Lanka test tonight. Doubt they would show both as the times clash.

Smith seems to enjoy the longer format of the game and is simply brilliant.
Kohli and AB have shown skills in all 3 formats of the game and are quite successful
simply put the best the 3 players the game have currently

Smith has scored 21 Test centuries since 2013!!!!!! (as a reference point Viv had 24 centuries in his entire career)
He's only 28 and can only improve.

Kohli is phenomenal as well.Hard to say whose better now in Test cricket however as an overall batsman in all formats its Kohli for sure.

I'll say

Steve
Kohli
Amla

What impressed me most about Smith is his versatility. He started as a bowler batting at 9 thereabouts and have evolved into a rounded player, exceptional batsman and captain. Kohli can't compare to that Imo. Kohli just recievs more air time.

lol at Kohli receiving more air time...have to thank BCCI for that...they literally control the ICC and well most tv rights...

I'm actually looking forward to see what he does against SA

At the same time, you've only looked at his test performance, he has 32 odi centuries. He's only topped by Sachin in that regard. Smith has 29 centuries total in his career, Kohli has 51, trailing lara by 2, Amla by 3. Kohli's #8 on that list while smith is at #42.
Amla is the actual silent run machine, he's got 54 international centuries. Just to put things in perspective, Smith is 28 years old, Kohli is 29, Amla is 34.
