windies must win the England series 5-0 to automatically qualify for the world cup...this is highly unlikely.

Forget Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Ireland and Zimbabwe would be in that mix as well.
WI would probably struggle against those teams moreso dependent on location (r.e. Middle East, England, Sub continent)

That'll be shameful if windies get whupped badly by hong kong, even for 1 or 2 games.

nice Indian victory...Indian selectors have the toughest job if you ask me....the amount of players with the potential for that ODI squad is amazing...Imagine

Dawan
Ashwin
Jadeja
Umesh
among others missing

I see Stuart Law trying to gel a team for the qualifiers...he spoke of the return of Russell and well Narine....who else could make this team...I was dropping Samuels doh

Samuels will be 38 and Gayle 40 by the time the 2019 WC rolls around. However we would surely need at least 1 senior batsman in the side unless by that time Darren Bravo and Braithwaite will be considered senior enough.

Whatever squad is selected will struggle in the qualifiers and further struggle in the WC if they make it that far. The gulf in class between the likes of India, England and Australia to the WI in ODIs is just that wide.
