This is the heart-stopping moment every motorist dreads. As you drive along the road, a police officer points a laser speed gun towards you.
Glancing at the dashboard, you breathe a sigh of relief: the speedometer reveals that your car is travelling below the 80 km/h limit but the radar gun .
claimed that you were driving 100 km/h Can that high speed really be true? Staggeringly, the answer may be no.
Motorists accused of driving too fast on TNT roads insist the real culprit is a laser speed gun officially approved by the ministry of national security and used by the police authority in the country. But it is discover that the radar speed .gun is seriously flawed.
In our tests, it wrongly recorded a wall as travelling at 90 km/p, an empty road scored 88 km/h, a parked car was clocked as doing 85 km/h and a bicycle (in reality being ridden at 5 km/p) rocketed along at an impossible 70 km/h--.About 50 people who got tickets are entitle for a refund if their tickets were paid ---

I would have liked to have seen proof of these claims (video showing the inaccurate readings).

IF what they are saying is true, then a lot would have to be answered for.

While the validity of that report is questionable... It is known that lidar speed guns can suffer from panning errors when hand held and aimed from the shoulder.... Hence the use of the tripod locally

From reading on forums as well they are supposed to be aimed at your number plates and or headlights, otherwise there can be errors in the measurement.
Saw a video where a different brand of lidar gun was used and when aimed at different areas of the vehicle readings can be off like pointing it at the windscreen or windows.

how soon till the rest of the guns get here? Most of our slave culture seem to have recognized that it's a number game, and the wildness continues.

Protesting about what specifically, and to whom?

They can't lawfully be using and charging ppl if these devices need calibrating/fine tuning/user training. Citizens do expect fair treatment and thus it should work both ways.

lol saw this last night heading south. a wingroad (PCS 6666) man come to a crawl at about 40-50 in the right lane. No police anywhere in sight though.

How they pull you over? Were you on the right lane or left lane?
You saw when they tagged you?

I was on the right lane, just over took a cement truck so I didn't see him till its too late ,they stop other cars way up ahead so by the the time u reach they pick u out of the traffic.
however, I must say that they were very professional in carrying out their business.

Even when people aren't driving at 80 the general speed of the highway has decreased. So instead of people driving at 120-150 people who are breaking the limit are doing maybe 100. Still an improvement IMO

Just asking to determine how accurate it is
