those bmw parking brakes are EXTREMELY effective, i've seen a defender strapped to a hilux trying to move one of those and it was a no go

Boy it really is a task, as fast as they put them up they get crashed down

I remember when they first started installing them, they put up posts by bird sanctuary turnoff but not yet cables
Same weekend some clown crash into them, a straight piece of highway

That's why on the long highways concrete barriers, proper concrete barriers are the way to go.

Prevents crossover of large vehicles as well. Maintenance negligible.

Cable barriers save lives less injury.

My own thoughts North to South a center median could be created from Chaguanas to San Fernando.the design could allow for additional lanes on both side instead of the grass median.

Accident on northbound by kamus. Looks like car went airborne and landed and burst in flames.

Accident on the highway this morning around 11:30-ish, highway eastbound in the vicinity of the horse racing track. Looked like a quarry truck rear ended a car, which rear ended another, which rear ended another. By the time I was headed in the opposite direction more than a half hour later, the last rear ended car was about to be attended to, the driver still at the wheel.

The truck was perched on the median and the truck driver looked like he knew he was fooked.
