What about honey?
Now doing some reading and it's a pretty good idea for your health. Anyone here uses it?

Sorry for not being more helpful, but there is a home items store on the ground floor of Trincity Mall in the original section that had a digital kitchen scale.

Long term updates?
I went as low as 175; sustained 185 for quite some time and then creeped back to 195.
It's a far cry from 250+, but taking some corrective action with diet again to drop these 20+ lbs. I wanna remain in the 170's range.

I don't like this gym culture. It's not for me.
I do road therapy, two long runs per week, I aim for 10k each, but some weeks I can get a 5 and a 10.
I also cycle on a Sunday, 60k average.

I know it's not the best way to lose weight, but I enjoy doing it and it's good way to clear my head. Physical and mental health.

Covid 19 vs lifestyle/health

Postby nismotrinidappa » December 21st, 2021, 8:48 am

With this new world situation and lockdowns last year and Netflix and popcorn laziness has kicked in.
I decided to start back running in order to remain healthy. I already believe this mask wearing is slowly stifling our lungs and wanted to strengthen them back. I dont smoke or drink. I can easily hold my breath underwater for more than a minute easily.i used to run 5k and 15k years ago and hoping to regain that level of fitness. I am starting with a 1/2 mile run and slowly want to build to a 2 mile run every day. I ran the half mile in 5.20 minutes and was slightly disappointed but happy that I didnt stop but kept the pace. Hoping to reach up to a 5 minute mile eventually.
For those into cycling running lifting etc how have you managed during this pandemic. ?
Food wise during the lockdown was only home cooked food. Eating more but losing weight. When fast food reopened the lbs returned. So it's back to using air fryer and checking the carbs.
Christmas this year is going to be quiet at home with lots of books to read.
How are you coping?

Bought an adjustable dumbbell set in october and been doing calisthetics. Sarted running 5ks three times a week from april, now I do it and hill sprints twice weekly with jumping rope on off days. Biggest hurdle for me is nutrition and lack of proper equipment. Nutritionwise always on a cut/little below maintenace because I not getting enough protein to build more muscle than fat. For equipment I took my time to make things last longer but the dumbbells got maxed out on compounds and most isolations long time, calisthetics I just line up chairs for dips but since Idont have a proper grip it hurts my hands, no place where I can do pull-ups but I got an idea where I bought heavy duty 5 gallon buckets and filled them up with water now sand for rowing as a substitute. Even if nothings perfect or even good enough it's still better than doing nothing is what tell myself to keep going.
