Fished overnight down the islands. Mostly Scotland Bay, the night fishing was the best of the year so far, we caught about 30 lbs of reds.

The night was extremely quiet though, only one other boat fishing, that smart man Teneille.

I have fished DDI for over 20 years and last night was the first night ever that I recall not seeing a single yacht in Scotland Bay. This is very strange as we are in the hurricane season and Trinidad is a safe anchorage, coming back into Chag this morning there were very few yachts around anywhere, from the Drydock all the way to Crews Inn there are hardly any pleasure boats, there are a lot of oil and gas support vessels closer to Gasparee though. It looks like the yachting industry has folded.

yeah bait hard these days, I end up getting bait in sea lots fish market at 4:30 am at $100 bucket. Buy from the man in the van, not inside. the earlier the better to make sure you catch him.
