is the iphone 4 unlockeable now? on baseband 04.11.08 as i have just had my sony ericson phone stolen so i need to get something if the iphone can be unlocked i will get one if not i think ill get a bmobile plan

thanks man my friend at work has offered me a new iphone 4 for the past few months it was mistakenly updated to ios 5 and the infamous baseband,
i have been holding off buying it due to the unlock issue (same reason he wants to sell it cheap) his phone was with at&t so he is going to get his wife to call them and see what the deal is. The bmobile plan doesn't look too bad though i was thinking about the basic plan 2 but problem is i don't use my phone much so i have never seen a need for a postpaid but i'd like the iphone apps particularly the fitness ones,
and i like the solid, heavy feel of the iphone .

but after completion, i get no audio in quicktime, itunes or on the ipad.

how do u guys convert video to show on your device?

there are other video players like oplayer and goodplayer etc that play mkv and others natively. check em out. do a search in the appstore for the others. i personally use goodplayer since it supports subs and other things quite well.

It could be unlocked if it's on AT&T , browse back a couple pages for the details , from what I remember is the phone contract needs to be up or a termination fee needs to be paid etc

Hey guys got a question,got an iphone from my uncle who came from the US,it was unlocked and jailbreaked.The factory restore was actually pressed and now the phone is locked.Tooked it to a guy who had said that it had the ipad software and that it couldn`t be reload and there was nothing that could be done with it.He full ah shiet or is there someone who can link me up.Post ah contact number.

no it's the code that unlockers, eg:(gevey & r sim) put for specific carriers

If Carrier Option(under homescreen-settings) is missing follow the procedures as:(Turn off your iphone and insert your Simcard and Gevey Sim together.).
Turn you 4s on
If carrier option is still there, try switching airplane off and on if it didn't work then tap on carrier option and let the carriers be loaded(searching will be seen on screen).Then select the corresponding carrier (TSTT/374 130) you are using from the list.
