^Well that all depends on whether or not the local side capitulates. If they can amass a lead of about 250+ in the morning session that should be a defensible total.

But is the West Indies we talking about eh...

still think it's gonna head for a draw though... Deonarine and Baugh ain't gonna give their wicket away easily.

What more to say for WI. It looks like Australia gonna wrap this one up on the last day. Deonarine and Sammy gone in this 1st hour this morning.

^Seems more than likely. But they're only 93 away from 250. Baugh and Roach are still there so they're in with a chance.

W.I. all out for 148. Australia need 192 to win. It'll take an exceptional performance in the field from the maroon crew to save this one.

Good match. The W.I. fought right to the end.

But that 1st innings declaration by the Aussies was a stroke of genius. It caught a tired W.I. outfit off-guard.

They deserve the win.

In test cricket teams must be prepared to bat and bowl twice and do so well if they are desirous of achieving good results.
The West Indies in my opinion only came prepared to play half a test match.
The first innings batting performance met the standards required and proves the teams ability and over-all performance speaks to consistency.
The chaps better prepare themselves for some serious relentless hard work from here on, failing which the aussies (with tails up) are going to cream them.

Watson show a lil form with the bat today. I saw Ponting's double century at the QPO nine years ago. He gonna come good this game...as long as Watson doesnt run him out. lol.

can't blame anyone for the loss, both sides took risks to go for win
one of the few times you ever really get an exciting finish to a Test match, lol

Clearly you were watching a different game.
Putting 0 fielders into attacking positions even at the entry of new batsmen and having your fielders out on the boundary thus giving away free singles is not 'taking risks to go for the win'.

For Australia's second innings West Indies didn't try to win the game, instead they tried not to lose and when you play negatively like that you get negative results.

I going but ent too sure what day as yet. Was trying to get Trini Pu er I mean Posse tickets. Heard they're available at All Out but they don't have a number to call and is too much hassle to go Tragrete Rd during the day, thx to Lee Sing.
