Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley says the manifesto of Gary Griffith’s NTA is “well-oiled criminal enterprise”.

The NTA is in an accommodation with the UNC to contest the Local Gov’t election. Gary Griffith shoots back. He says the PM harassed him to give a friend of his in Tobago a Firearm Dealers licence. Details in the TV6 News @ 7.

My Birthday today!!
A few days ago I posted a random photo taken by my son as the family and I were out for breakfast.
To my surprise the photo was shared by a UNC account and then to even more of a surprise there were literally hundreds of comments about a simple photo with a simple caption.
The amount of hate that I saw was not as mind blowing as much as the persons I saw making the comments.
Some persons looked like they could be my mother or even grand mother and grand father, many East Indians like myself!
At that point I could have gotten angry and even offended .
However I was thinking to reach that age and be consumed by so much anger and hate could not be healthy!
To spew so much venom at someone you do not know could not be good for your soul.
So today as I turn 41 today I know the type of old person I want to be!
I want to be a forgiving older person, so to all those who have only sent hatred my way because I am PNM, I , forgive you!
I mean it from my heart! I do pray that you find peace and , happiness .
I pray that one day you have such a fulfilling and happy life that there is NO PLACE for hatred in your life.
To my supporters I love you all with all of my heart! My parents, husband and family, my close friends , my people , on this day I say I could not be the person I am without each and every one of you….I love you and I thank GOD for you all every day!
The God I serve….in you I trust and I know for as long as you want me here I shall be here! As I always say to you Devi Maa… let your will be done! You know I am NOT fighting it.
Now to the younger generation of Trinibagonians I believe in you! I believe you all have the power to break this cycle of divisiveness that exist in our country!
Let your generation be the one to say NO MORE RACISM .
So this year as I blow out all 41 of my candles my thoughts will be:
I truly forgive those who have tried to degrade me . I forgive even those who hate me
I will continue to love and , pray for those who support me
But my birthday wish will be that one day we will truly be one people under GOD!!!!. For
Trinidad and Tobago deserves leaders who will Unite not Divide US!

Nah...I think they just looked for someone from Oropune which falls within that seat with a reasonable enough public profile. Her Husband is former Soca Warrior Hayden Tinto and she's a businesswoman.
