I want one. Only real complaint (aside from charging stations) is not being able to pull tools out from the side of the tray. Well wtf just put your tools to the back of the tray or hop onto the freaking tray to get it. Bunch of first world pansies want to spoil the aesthetics of this beast because they lazy.

$10.5 billion in pre-orders for the Cybertruck with $0 in ad spend. Tesla is disrupting more than the car market - it's disrupting the marketers.

Doesn’t look to bad in matte black

I think we will warm up to the design and others will follow. As with the first iPhone

If Tesla doesn't become a consistently profitable company at some point in the future then all this wouldn't matter. Unlike Amazon they don't have the equivalent of Amazon Web Services to prop up the loss making on the e commerce end.

This is the James Bond sports car Elon Musk bought for nearly $1 million that inspired Tesla Cybertruck

I honestly don't get the hate for this design. Could be because I find most modern pickups to be Fugly, but I think this looks bad@ss AF.

Bold design move will fit right in the future

As for TT we should have the latest AD wagon/tiida/aqua CNG around the time the pickups hit their roads

Looks slightly better in matte black, but personally I think it's a lil ugly. I swear Musk was trolling his fanboys/haters when I first saw the design? Obviously it's still going to sell.... brand too strong at this point to fail.

Tesla changed the release dates for the most and least expensive versions of the Cybertruck by a year

Mark Matousek

Dec 6, 2019, 11:09 AM

Tesla has changed the production timelines for the most and least expensive trims of its Cybertruck pickup truck.

It said production for the three-motor, all-wheel-drive Cybertruck, which starts at $69,900, would begin in 2021, a year earlier than Tesla first announced.

The single-motor, rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck, which starts at $39,900, will enter production in late 2022, a year later than its original timeline, Tesla said.

Tesla followed a similar strategy with its Model 3 sedan, releasing more expensive — and more profitable — versions before the least expensive trim.

The single-motor, rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck, which starts at $39,900, will enter production in late 2022, a year later than its original timeline.

Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The electric-car maker followed a similar strategy with its Model 3 sedan, releasing more expensive — and more profitable — versions before the least expensive trim.

The Cybertruck has attracted at least 250,000 refundable $100 preorders since it was unveiled in November. Though the vehicle's design has been divisive, its listed performance specs top those of the 2020 Ford F-150 in areas like maximum payload and towing capacity.
