How the USGS measure it at 5.9 and everyone in TT reporting 6.1 and 6.2? Is it not the moment magnitude scale used?

UWI Seismic website Scientific Advisories events not updated as yet of course, so where people getting 6.2 from?

Was driving up Southern Main Road when the earthquake happened. Felt nothing. Just saw people running out of supermarkets and thing and when I looked at shop signs there were swaying like that!!!!
