so i home on vacation and decided to take in the new flash.
all of season one. took me 4 days to complete it ( on the last episode of season 1 now)
its entertaining and the story line is based on the comics...so to say...the show intro is kinda annoying though.
i like how they included the original flash in the series as his father. -a way to pay homage i guess. they also included Amanda pays (Dr christian McGee ) another of the original flash cast members.
next question :how many episodes of season 2 has been aired so far.??
Iris West this week got perhaps the biggest gift of all, as after instances of a scene here and there not making it to broadcast, Miss West was well accounted for, leaning on Barry, for a change, to help her through a difficult time.
For amidst the joy and cheer of Central City’s holiday season, Iris decided she couldn’t keep bottled up inside anymore the secret she’s been keeping, that her mother had a son, Wally. Barry advises iris to tell Joe the truth, that it won’t kill him. Besides, she won’t have to do it alone, as Barry will be at her side.
As he would later share with Barry, he feels guilt for having turned his back on Francine all those years ago, unwittingly leaving Wally without a father figure, someone to throw a football with. “That poor boy paid the price” for Joe’s self-preservation, he sadly observes.
Joe winds up reconnecting with Francine and learned that he needed to forgive her, for everyone’s sake. And at episode’s end, the West family Christmas celebration grows by one head when Wally comes a-knocking, recognizing it’s probably a bad time, but welcomed nonetheless, with open arms.
Zoom has been trying to broker with Wells. As the scientist has surmised, the sinister speedster wants The Flash to get faster and stronger because Zoom plans to rob The Flash of all his power.
And Zoom wants Wells to help him do it. In trade, Harrison’s daughter Jesse will live. And after giving Wells a quick taste of what a reunion with his daughter can be like, Wells signs on. “I’ll do it,” he agrees. “I’ll help you steal The Flash’s speed.”

Having arrived in town intent on creating maximum chaos, Trajectory's antics are misinterpreted as having been perpetrated by the Flash himself. Barry thus must quickly uncover the mystery of who is the girl under the mask - as well as what is driving her mad desire for speed and destruction.
The Flash Season 2 Episode 17 - 29th March 2016 - Flash Back
Hartley — who escaped the Pipeline when Cisco let him out in Season 1’s “Crazy for You” — returns to wreak havoc on his former S.T.A.R. Labs colleagues
The Flash Season 2 Episode 17 - 29th March 2016 - Flash Back
Iris tells Barry she just had a date, but it reminds her of Eddie. And dating feels wrong.
Talking with Wally at dinner about reading all of his heroes' books, Barry decides to go back in time to learn from Harrison Wells. Harry is disgusted. He warns Barry that Thawne will know it's him and that will affect the timeline and when he comes back, that means he'll notice things are different and he'll be the only one who knows that.
The scientists decide he'll go back to when Hartley Rathaway was around, because that's when they first learned Wells/Thawne knew the particle accelerator was going to explode.
Cisco and Caitlin start coaching him on how to make it all work, and as it's happening and Barry says, "what could go wrong," you just know something is going to go wrong.
Barry arrives too early. It's not a good start.
Barry then makes the real Flash go away, by way of tranq dart. Back at the Lab, he remembers Hartley's ear implants and the bomb. He gets that taken care of and then screws up by showing his scientific hand with Wells/Thawne. WT almost stands up to catch the lie. He doesn't.
Awww. Eddie.
There is a wraith attacking in the station. It was in the Speed Force as Barry came through. Barry then says he thinks the CCPD has whatever is plaguing them handled. Ummm. no. Run Barry. I miss WT saying that.
Finally. Something good about this episode. Hartley was being Rick Rolled.
Barry gets Eddie to say something to Iris in a birthday video as if it's the last thing he would ever say to her.
The two Barrys are in the same room. It's ridiculous in a way only The Flash can do it.
WT gives Barry the tachyon stuff on a USB drive. Or something. He's sending Barry into the Speed Force to get rid of the Wraith.
Our Barry needed help to get going and other Barry pulled a Supergirl to get him going. The Time Wraith went through the Speed Force though, and was sucking the life out of him. Thankfully, Hartley saved him.
Um...yeah, because Hartley is just a little something that changed by way of messing with the timeline.
The Flash Season 2 Episode 18 - 19th April 2016 - Versus Zoom
Barry goes really fast, four times faster, but my satellite service goes out, so that's all I know.
Cisco can't vibe.
Harry asks Joe what he knows about Jesse's whereabouts to far. He also hopes Joe can talk Barry out of reopening the breaches to his Earth.
Joe suggests Harry go with him to help him defeat Zoom. That will help him be successful.
Joe's wondering why Wally won't accept his help finding a place to live. Barry tells him it's because he's never lived with his father, and wants the chance to do it. So Joe cleans out a room and invites Wally, who is very happy.
Iris is wondering if she should be thinking about love with Barry. But if she has to think about it, then she shouldn't be with him. You're either into someone or you aren't.
Cisco is worried he'll become Darth Vader if he starts using his abilities. He doesn't want to succumb to the dark side. Barry says he understands, after all, Cisco was there the first time Barry ran on water, up a building or back in time. What Cisco has that Reverb didn't is friends.
Caitlin is having a hard time because she doesn't want to face Jay. She tells Harry Hunter Zoloman is his on-earth doppelganger. Hunter was 11 when his father killed his mother right in front of him and then Hunter was later convicted of 23 murders. On the night their particle accelerator exploded, Hunter was being executed. Whoops.
Barry goes to get Zoom. Zoom comes over. Barry kind of throws Zoom for a loop with standees of his parents.
Wally is in the Zoom prison. He's chatting with mask face. Mask face apparently cannot talk through the mask.
Wally wonders why The Flash would care about him. He's a little confused.
Joe needs a minute.
Suddenly Barry is contemplating giving up his speed to save Wally. Which makes no sense, because if he does, then who will stop him kill all the OTHER people?
Zoom vibes on the helmet. Wally's alive. Cisco sees Jay (why are they still calling him Jay?). Cisco says Barry will give him his speed.
Barry gets Hunter to hand over Wally before he gives up his speed.
Hunter killed his "time remnant." That's how he managed to be in two places at one time.
Barry gives up his powers. He really did it. Then Hunter tried to kill Barry, a little ol' human. Caitlin begs him to stop if she ever meant anything to him. He stops. Then he kidnaps her and scurries off.
The Flash Season 2 Episode 19 - 26th April 2016 - Back to Normal
Barry is normal. Harry is totally pissed, pointing the finger at Barry. Everything going on is his fault.
Joe and Iris stick up for him, and Barry agrees with Joe that this isn't all his fault.
Cait is finally calling the killer Hunter. She demands if he talk to her, he take off the mask. He says she'll eventually see he's not a monster. She's there because he loves her. Surely she'll fall in love with him again. It will just take a while.
The Man in the Iron Mask is tapping away at the glass, but Cait doesn't understand.
Killer Flash wanders in from behind.
Wally West wants to know about The Flash. He's hoping Joe can set up a meeting between him and The Flash. Talk about bad timing.
Jesse doesn't want to return with Harry, hard feelings and all that, but he's kidnapped by a meta on his way home.
Petty crimes have risen lately, sparking concerns that The Flash something, says the news.
Killer Frost and Cailin strike up a deal to help each other out.
Griffin Grey is upset because his super strength is also aging him. He's only 18 and looks...I have no idea.
Killer Frost talks a lot like Captain Cold all of a sudden. She and Caitlin have a lot in common.
Wally wants to talk about The Flash again. He's getting a little bit annoying. Wally feels bad, I guess, that The Flash gave up his powers to save him. So I guess that's a decent reason to talk to him, but he must realize the dude's not The Flash anymore, right?
Barry is useless against Griffin, who is using his strength and aging along the way. Jesse is very helpful in the lab, especially since Caitlin is gone. They talk about getting Griffin so worked up that he expends a lot of strength to the fact he's old and feeble.
Barry talks to Iris about her being his first save.
Killer Frost double crosses Caitlin. She thinks he won't need her anymore. But it was all a play to escape. Hunter was onto it and kills Killer Frost. He says if she tries the same thing with "him," he'll die, too.
Jesse and Cisco try to make alterations to The Flash suit so Barry can absorb a super punch, but after all, they can only alter the chest area, and it can only absorb one punch.
They fight, and when the poor dude finally dies of old age, he turns back into his normal self.
Jesse runs and hugs Harry. Everyone's sorry.
Harry and Jesse are living at STAR Labs. Maybe they should get a place to live of their own that they can really call home. Jesse wants to make sure that no matter how much danger he thinks she's in, Harry will never go to the extremes he did before again.
Wally meets with The Flash. But Barry can't shake his face or squiggle his voice anymore. Wally just says he's not going to waste this chance he's been given. The Flash thanks him and leaves.
Hunter decides he wants to widen his scope of how he counts his success. It's no longer body count, but the number of earths he conquers.
The Flash Season 2 Episode 20 - 3rd May 2016 - Rupture
The Flash is saving the city via hologram, gaming style. Cisco is in control, Barry is on the treadmill, and Iris is their communication port.
Harry wants to blow up a particle accelerator. The trio thinks that's a terrible idea. Harry wants to use Harrison's data to do it all because their subterfuge will not work and won't save Snow.
Barry needs to get his speed back in order to conquer Zoom. End of story.
Barry drives up to the mountains to see Henry. Henry wonders why a speedster needs a car. When does a speedster need a car? When a speedster isn't a speedster.
What is Henry's mom's maiden name? Garrick.
When Cisco vibes after being angry at Harry for calling him Ramon, he sees his brother.
Henry comes back. Maybe for good. He figures he spent enough time away from his son. So, he'll probably die.
Wally checks in with Joe. Wally is still thinking about his life.
Zoom says the city is his. Anybody who disobeys him will meet their end. Caitlin gets him to steer clear of the Wests.
Harry is freaking out. Zoom is going to kill everyone. Joe wants to believe Caitlin can keep Hunter from killing everyone. Hunter wants her to unlock the Killer Frost within.
Cisco thought his kidnapping experience with his brother would bring them closer. Nope.
Jesse and Wally are left in the braille room. No bathroom!
Henry and Joe start to get into it over Barry undergoing the explosion. Harry gets involved. Barry says it's not up to any of them. It's his alone.
Cisco's brother is a dick. Once a dick, always a dick.
Rupture has a pretty cool electrical scythe.
Iris weighs in Barry doing the particle thing. She tells Barry she can't help but wonder is they were meant to be together. But she doesn't really express how she feels. She says she says she's open to seeing if they have a future together because she wasn't available before, but she is now.
Zoom let Caitlin keep her cell phone?
Rupture and Zoom meet. Dark voices unite. I would be far too excited to speak so freakin' slow.
Barry says he can't undergo the explosion until he knows 100% that nobody but him can be harmed. Which is impossible, so it can never happen. Which we know isn't true, so something will change.
Cisco's brother finds out he went to another earth and can vibe. What? He's like a metahuman? He's not laughing now. Dante! That's his name.
The Flash, Cisco and the cops get Rupture, angering Hunter. He sees Caitlin betrayed him and he zooms on over to what's left of Jitters. Noooo!
Zoom finally killed people, proving he's quite the menace. But because he loves, he didn't hurt anyone that would anger Caitlin.
Another Earth-2 doppelganger? Gone.
The Flash was outed as a hologram. There is no hope.
Jesse and Wally decide to try to figure out how to get out of the braille room.
Since The Flash isn't around, metahumans will start coming out of the woodwork to join Zoom. I'm not sure what Zoom offers, or if he has to offer anything to join him, but Barry decides to set off the particle accelerator.
The Flash Season 2 Episode 21 - 10th May 2016 - The Runaway Dinosaur
Harry calls to Jesse and Wally to come down to the command center. Then they run into the hallway to see the duo passed out. Jesse's heart was stopped momentarily.
Henry's in a bit of a daze.
Cisco touches the burned up remains of The Flash suit. He saw Barry. He's alive.
Barry is in his childhood bedroom. He goes downstairs to see crime scene tape and Joe in the living room. He says he's not Joe. He says "we" thought you'd be more comfortable talking to people he knew.
Barry can't go back until he catches the brown blur running through the streets of his old hometown.
Henry wants Eobard's medical files on Barry so Iris and Cisco take flashlights down into the metahuman morgue (why no lights??) where Girder has thawed.
Ha! Cisco tells Iris to get behind her, and she says, no, you get behind me!
Girder is a zombie. Because no one knows why.
Barry finds speed force Iris. Not Iris he says sadly.
He wonders why he was even given the speed force if they feel like they should have given it to someone else. She says because he IS the The Flash.
Cisco and Henry find Barry, but he can't go back, because he has to catch the brown blur first or else he goes back without his powers.
Why always Jitters? Why is Jitters the only place people ever go and wreck?
Iris is excited to use herself as bait. And wants to lure Girder back to STAR Labs where Cisco and Wells can kill him. Again.
Barry runs into the speed force version of his dad.
Joe thought maybe Wally was a speedster and drops a mug on the floor as a test.
Iris goes outside and whistles to zombie Tony. He begins to follow.
Not-Henry suggests that Barry isn't at peace with the decision to allow his mother to die. And that's his biggest drawback at the moment.
The gang is trapped by Girder. Whoopsies.
Barry arrives at this old home to find Nora. You're not my mother. Why are you doing this to me?
After reading the dinosaur book about the little myasaur, Barry catches the brown blur. It's him. He's ready to go back. Iris and Cisco join hands ready to contact Barry again to bring him back.
Barry and Iris are together going somewhere, but they don't know where.
Hunter has freed Caitlin, as free as she is with the fate of the free world hanging over her shoulders.

^^^say the correct thing, Barry went back in time to save his mother from eobard than, not Wells. And zoom wanted to race him to use their energy to power a weapon that will destroy the multiverse except that earth.
They still ain't say how zoom could open breaches, cuz he not velocity 9 fast again to open it like that

**edited**
zoom didnt need the velocity 9 because he became faster when he stole the flash's speed....

When Barry starts forgetting parts of his old life, the Reverse Flash (guest star Matt Letscher) taunts his nemesis and tells him that there will be serious repercussions for Barry and the ones he loves if he continues to live in this alternate universe.
In addition to losing his memories, his powers will also start to fade.
When disaster strikes, Barry must decide if he wants to continue to live in this world as Barry Allen or return to his universe as The Flash.

He is concerned about her safety and wants them to talk her out of using her powers. Meanwhile, Magenta, (guest star Joey King) a new meta who can control metal, terrorizes the city.
October 25, 2016 - Season 3 Episode 4 - The New Rogues
Barry continues to train Jesse and when a new meta human, Mirror Master, appears on the scene he lets her tag along. Mirror Master has teamed up with his old partner, Top, and is looking for Snart to even a score. Jesse is quick to join the chase but defies one of Barry’s orders which results in disastrous consequences.
Former colleagues of Leonard Snart who gained powers in the particle accelerator explosion, the newly dubbed Mirror Master and Top should have made for very formidable baddies in Central City. Mirror Master, whom we learn has a doppleganger on Earth-2 who uses a dimensional ray gun, has the ability to travel in any reflective surface by creating wormholes. Top, his girlfriend, is able to induce crippling vertigo on anyone.
In another subplot of this hour, Cisco, Caitlyn, and Wells team to find a replacement Wells in the multiverse to take the place of their Earth-2 colleague. Searching through a breach using an algorithm riddle, the trio audition various parallels Wells doppelgangers that include a mime, a cowboy, and a steampunk version. No, you read that right: we see the world's lamest variations of the Wells character before settling on a hipster version whom Earth-2 Wells doesn't trust.
The other subplot this week follows the weak Iris-Barry dating issues from last week. This time, the pair are uncomfortable kissing in front of Joe. This leads to an awkward conversation between Barry and his adoptive father that is meant to be played for laughs but ends up feeling forced. Joe even has his own goofy exchange with his potential love interest. The whole debacle ends with Barry deciding it is time to move out of the West home and get his own place. Of course, everyone agrees and laughs at the tension in the room.
November 1, 2016 - Season 3 Episode 5 - Monster
Desperate to understand what is happening to her, Caitlin visits her mother, Dr. Tannhauser, a renowned biomedical researcher, in the hopes that her mother can provide some answers about Caitlin's growing meta-human powers. Meanwhile, after a mysterious new meta-human attacks Central City, Barry tries to convince Julian to let him assist on the case.
Caitlin visits her estranged mother, Carla, at her medical research company to have her powers examined, but leaves after viciously attacking another scientist who intended to exploit her condition.
Meanwhile, a gigantic creature repeatedly appears and disappears on the streets of Central City. Cisco grows suspicious of the newly-recruited "H.R." Wells when he does not provide much help in battling the monster.
The monster is revealed to be simply a hologram operated by a bullied 15-year-old boy wanting to create fear in others.
Barry exposes the deception in time to keep police snipers from harming civilians, and prevent Julian from shooting the boy, whom he mistakes for a metahuman.
H.R. is revealed to have no technical knowledge at all. He admits that he is only an "idea man" for his tech company on Earth-19, and that he came to Earth-1 primarily to get material for a novel.
The team decides to give him a chance to prove his worth as an assistant. A badly shaken Julian reconciles his differences with Barry.
Carla informs Caitlin that her powers are increasing and that she needs to stop using them, or her condition will become irreversible
November 15, 2016 - Season 3 Episode 6 - Shade
When Wally starts having dreams about being Kid Flash, Barry realizes he has to tell Wally, Iris and Joe about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in order to keep him safe
Shade himself is barely explained and serves as nothing more than a mere plot device to progress the main story which surrounds Wally West and his link to Alchemy. As we saw in the season premiere, in Barry's Flashpoint universe, Wally was actually Kid Flash. Left with a mortal wound before Barry reset the timeline, Wally has been anxious to get powers after Jesse Quick's exposure to dark matter resulted in her becoming a speedster. Wally begins having dreams induced by Alchemy which excites the young man into the potential to be a hero. Both Joe West and Barry have hesitancy since the dreams come from Alchemy but Wally doesn't want to hear it. It is not until he suffers seizures and volunteers to lock himself in The Cortex at STAR Labs that he realizes there may be a downside to what is going on. Barry's revelation about Wally raises questions for everyone, including Iris, who laments her own lack of purpose on the team after hearing her involvement in helping Kid Flash in the alternate timeline
The powers question also forces Kaitlyn to reveal to Cisco that she has been exhibiting Killer Frost's abilities. She asks him to vibe and see if she becomes the villainous ice queen and Cisco sees the two of them dueling in the future. At first, Cisco lies to Kaitlyn when she says she would have to leave and never return but eventually shares the truth with her. Cisco also forces her to reveal her abilities to the rest of the team. Barry also reveals to Kaitlyn that her powers were likely caused by Flashpoint, deepening the hero's guilt about what his manipulation of the timeline has wrought. All of this comes coupled with the fact that a metahuman who can take the form of a shadow, Shade, is killing innocents in Central City. Using Cisco's powercuffs, the team accompany Joe West on his date at a movie screening in a local park. Barry and Iris stay back with Wally but The Flash is soon needed when Shade arrives. With H.R. interrupted from hitting on Joe's date (along with some cool technology that masks his Harrison Wells visage to the public), the team flood the park with light and thereby stop Shade from harming anyone.
But as Alchemy seems to have everything where he wants it, we as viewers are thrown for a loop. Wally touches Alchemy's glowing stone and is immediately encased in a chrysalis which we are led to assume will grant him his Kid Flash speed. Barry meanwhile keeps fighting the new speedster who gets the upper hand on him. At normal speed, we finally get a look at Savitar, the new speedster villain on the show. Looking like a TV budget version of Megatron, the new villain is composed of some sort of metal with glowing blue eyes
November 22, 2016 - Season 3 Episode 7 - Killer Frost
Caitlin uses her powers to save Barry but as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost.
Killer Frost goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian and battling both The Flash and Vibe
Meanwhile, Joe and H.R. have a heart to heart talk.
It's the Biggest and Best Superhero team-up ever - The epic 4 night Crossover event begins
Monday November 28th 2016 to Thursday December 1st 2016
Supergirl - The Flash - Arrow - Legends of Tomorrow
In the above clip, Supergirl is brought onto Earth-1 by the Flash and Cisco and finally introduced to the rest of the Arrow-verse. The team was expecting Barry to bring another alien who can help them fight the Dominator invasion, not some girl in a cape who looks totally human. This leads Kara to demonstrate her impressive abilities of flight and heat vision, doing at least enough to convince Diggle.
Fans are well aware that Diggle is typically pretty flabbergasted by the abilities of metahumans, such as when he first saw Barry run at super speed. This is a man whose acceptance of the strange used to begin and end with a dude who's good at archery, so he can be forgiven for being stunned by super powers. Since he met the Flash, Diggle has encountered all sorts of super beings like giant shark men and magical powers, so his meeting an alien is just another Wednesday for him.
Diggle actor David Ramsey has been teasing how his character will react to the presence of aliens for a while now. When he met the Flash in the very first crossover, he threw his french fries into the air in shock, so Ramsey felt that he'd need to go even bigger for Supergirl. Ramsey decided that Diggle, when confronted with the confirmation of life on other worlds, could "maybe pee just a little bit."
So, in that clip, know that Diggle probably peed himself. Not a lot, because he's a tough guy, but enough.
The four-part crossover will begin at the tail end of Supergirl when she's recruited by the Flash to help fight the Dominators -- an alien race with mind control abilities who have become fearful of the metahumans of Earth. Supergirl, Team Arrow, Team Flash, and the Legends are Earth's first and only defense from the alien invasion.
