Watched it for the first time today.
Alexander is an officer of the law, not a television
host, and clearly will not fulfil the part as such
(articulation not in agreement with television standards).
As such I understand why people may say the show 'sucks'.
The host is not suited for this kind of program though.
(He does wield the English language nicely but doe not possess
the charisma for such a show in my opinion).
I am sure a new host will make the program more interesting, even though
it was stated numerous times that this program is supposed to be 'professional'.

watched piece yesterday and was impressed by the piece with the guns shown..unimpressed by the "professional" part where they showed cctv footage and refused to shwo the face of the culprit....is trinidad we living...we love bachannal...we WANT to see the person face to identify them.....THIS IS THE SAME REASON WE DETEST THE POLICE!!! they cover the faces fo ppl coming out of court/ let them out the back door...we want to see to know!! AND they will get TIPS from the public!

A lot of people liked crime watch , I was not one of them , the melodramatics perpetuated by the host made it very difficult to watch.

After viewing the last 10-15mins of the first episode of beyond the tape . The crime prevention advice and staged videos showing how to better prevent a situation has done more in 10 mins than what any other programs in recent memory have done.

Both them shows late in the dance, years ago TTT had a 5 min clip they used to show on crime prevention. I can't recall the name of the show I think it was dial 999 .

citizens have realized that many police are scared to respond to armed robberies (unless is johnny and he team)

everyone knows that police are quick to respond to domestic disturbances

bar owners must be work on that assumption and call it in as a domestic disturbance

That is where standard operating procedures need to be improved...the cops have to treat every situation like a potential hostile situation. You never know what you're gonna face.
