Or you can open your own company and develop a "contract" you like, then employ people with that "contract" and let us know how it works out for you.

Pullease........ trinis just have a very nasty attitude towards working for people, they like to work when they feel to work.......... what makes this countrys work force so undisciplined is the UNions that back up these lazy a$$ forkers......................... and would take a good employer to court and seek to destroy a company for one silly a$$hole............

But if the worker is not performing there are courses of action to take...
I doubt you saying the court favours the unions:-o

Once you not in the minimum wage category there is no legislation covering vacation. It is up to your employer to set a vacation number. They usually go by best practice or an industry average.

If I am not mistaken thats taken from the Minimum Wages Order. Thats covers certain employees not all and Afaik the provisions in there are not binding once you not falling within the salary range the order covers.

Correct, if your salary falls outside of the Min Wage Order, then sick leave and vacation leave are contractual.

Dizzy28 wrote:You are entitled to 0 days Sick Leave according to the law. Your employer pays 2/3 of your NIS contribution for the reason that if you get sick you can make a claim to NIS and get back something. Any place that has a preset number of sick days does so as a benefit and not because of any legislative framework.

Well said and in accordance with all laws.

There is no longer "entitlement".
