How long you have them and where you got them from? Are they noisy?

bird Lover here.

however will only support birding in the wild; not in cages; breaks my heart to see them in a cage...

I'd normally put food, water out for them and shoot (pics).

These days there are a lot of babies around. It is wonderful to see the parents taking out the little ones - teaching them to feed and fly :)

All bird owners. I have currently a custom made steel bird cage with wheels equipped with boxes in every compartment .. I paid over 3 k for it. Looking to sell it for 2800 negotiable if anyone is interested and I also have small wooden cages and a few steel cages for parrots.

This little guy lives in my front porch. Since he moved in, I never bothered to close the fixture. It's not live either so he 's safe. I wake up to him singing every morning. Why would I put him in a cage :-/

Budgies & Lovebirds not a native bird so it's actually safer to keep them in cages rather than releasing them. I leave all of my birds fully flighted (even the untamed ones) and TRUST ME, they always jolly & motivated & playful. When u clip they wings, it makes them dependent on u to carry them around all the time.

Nice, its good to hear people breeding them rather than take them from the wild? whereabouts is your cousin located I am interested in how the set-up is for breeding Macaws as I know PaP has quite a big area for this and took some time. BTW how much he sells them for

Chickland. Note that macaws will only be sold as babies so they would bond with you as they grow. Prices depend on what u want

Got my first finch today its still young an im new to this so i need some help from ppl that own or owned birds like this already.. i got a parrot and some love birds but this is my first finch, and from what i was told is with the proper care they can turn into some heavy *rollers*

My main question tho, is the investment worth it... or is it a dying hobby in trinidad..

Opie, if you want that finch to really roll, u cant have him/her hearing the other birds. He/she will try to copy their song

Call Yerette in Maracas St Joseph, it's a home that has become a place to go view Hummingbirds, several species come there all naturally no cages, they have feeders and may be able to assist you.

This may sound shupid, but for years I have been trying to get a parrot that could talk....for the past 4 years I have owner over 6 parrots,1 flew away, had to give away 1,my pair of pinus died and a female yellow headed amazon was stolen,so just left with the male.
If anyone has or know anyone that has a talking parrot that may be to much for them to handle ,I am willing to adopt it or buy ....Yes I know it may sound shupid, people don't give away or sell talking parrots, but I know some do get fed up of them and the noise.....

people say if you give a parrot salt food he will not talk i had mines from a baby and he ate salt food from then till now and still talk,
if some one talk to them regular or use a phrase they will pick it up like

bye bye
come for kiss
i going
no
come for me

are some of the things mines say

if you have it in a cage all day and no one talks to them they wont talk..
