Any pics of that black Z in the sunlight? It'll show if the paint has swirls or not.

I like those pics....he clearly shows the swirls in teh before pics (first and second).

Many people don't even seem to know what that is.

Karim, do you have any 50/50 shots to show these folks what we mean by swirl removal?

That first pic says it all - THAT folks, is how you judge whether your detailer is doing good work.

CLEAN reflections. Even under a bright light (like a camera flash)! Taking pics in a shaded garage says nothing (as I asked about other pictures above), unfortunately, since shade doesn't show up swirls as much.

props to the guy,

1 - its dirty hardwork
2 - takes time

Thanks Razkal,, It is hard work and you really need a lot of patience. To succeed in this type of business you really need to like what you do it must be a passion. If you are in it just for the money you would may not be as successful.

Aaron thanks once again for having me work on your vehicles. It was truly a pleasure.

Five different type of paint enhancement products were used to bring out the luster of this paint finish. The above pic does not do justice much to the final finish !!! all i can say it that its one of my best jobs!!!

Aaron this post is really deserving of this trend. The job was not the most expensive job i have done but it certainly was not the cheapest!

Why because someone's car doesn't look like it was detailed everyday somehow synonymous with cheapness/laziness/lack of ambition? Some people simply lack the passion for, or don't have the time for it. I know a guy with an S13 and you could lick the valve cover, fuss it clean. Conversely, I have seen that car actually being driven on the road less than 10 times!

Aaron it was a pleasure detailing the van today.

Guys this vehicle was a case of Dealer Instilled Swirls (DIS) . The vehicle was full of buff trails when it came from the dealer. When i first saw it i though " my god how can someone do a job like this and sleep in the night". When i was asked to correct the damage, i was a bit excited and could not wait to start the job.

The process
1. Clean under each fender with Meguiar's Super Degreaser and under fender brush
2. Clean each rim and tire with Meguiar's Wheel cleaner
3. Snow foam the entire van
4. Rinse and dry with Meguiar's Water Magnet
5. Clay the vehicle with Shining Monkey Clay bar courtesy DE AUDIO- thanks Fen, the clay bar works great!! and Meguiar's Last Touch Detailer.
6. Tape up the vehicle with 3M and Meguiar's Tape.
7. Paint correction - FLEX 3401 dual action polisher , Meguiar's Polishing Pad and Meguair's Swirl Remover #9
8. Polished with Meguiar's Show Car Glaze
9. Applied a secret synthetic sealant.
10. Synthetic sealant cure for 1 hour.
11. Remove sealant with Microfiber towel
12. Detail the Under carriage with Under carriage detailer and Meguiar's Hyper Dressing.
13. Dress tires with Meguiars High Endurance
14. Final wipe down with Meguiar's Ultimate protectant
15. Final wipe down on rims.

Time - apx 8hrs of non stop detailing!
