I am not going to spend that amount of money for a 15 minute display in which I cannot take pictures for myself.

The authorities should try to encourage learning and not deter it by charging people to learn and with access to the internet this event is almost non-beneficial.

I am sure the numerous international companies located here who are raping our country of its natural resources and profiting from it, while giving back little to nothing at all for it, can fund such initiatives and programmes.

dude seriously, wtf is wrong with you
whats up with this free thing syndrome, learn to provide for yourself and you may see the world in an entire different light.

so am i lying? or u an employee?

does this encourage learning or deter it?

how has Trinidad benefited from these companies compared to the profits they make?

y you hating on the compaines that making money, they came invested their money and developed exploratrion programs utalizing a wide range of local firms and individuals and to this day still do so therby directly contributing to our economy
the projects they invested in were very risky projects from an investment stand point and we are talking sums of money here that our country does even have , they also introduced technology to various sectors which we did not have the capability to initalise
without the introduction of these foreign companies Trinidad would have basically no revenue form oil and gas as we have a fat lazy pig as our national Oil and gas Company that is incapible of doing anything.
They also employ a large sector of our population and in most cases pay much better than your local esteemed companies ( who see no problem with taking advantage of our fellow trinis) along with proving education training and opertunities for said employees.

So they took the risk, developed the industry, invested their money and are making money, why you hating on them?
they don't owe you or this country sheit and yet they constanty provide grants schlorships and invent in community development projects.
