^ thats because there are multiple sellers on amazon with floating prices
Most of the time it's cheaper to buy directly from apple.com, even with the sales tax.

Would it be safe to clean an iPhone's dock connector with CRC? My friend's 3GS is giving some trouble and he suspects it's the dock.

EDIT: A toothbrush did the trick for him.

So i sort of ended up with an iPhone and need to get my sim card fitted into the tray. Where can i get my sim cut? I'm not feeling too confident doing it myself.

we know it is discontinued.. replaced by iCloud. whoever's selling it either has no clue that its no longer available or is trying to catch someone who doesn't know.

AT&T to start unlocking iPhones.

Beginning Sunday, April 8, we will offer qualifying customers the ability to unlock their AT&T iPhones. The only requirements are that a customer’s account must be in good standing, their device cannot be associated with a current and active term commitment on an AT&T customer account, and they need to have fulfilled their contract term, upgraded under one of our upgrade policies or paid an early termination fee.

yup... that's my screenshot in that article. I actually mailed tcook at apple.com when they reported that one of their bloggers got an unlock and thanked him and got a reply from AT&T. i thought it was spam though... so i sent it in to tips @ 9to5mac and it seems that it wasnt

Sadly they haven't responded to me. I told them that i now reside in Trinidad and I'm not the original owner.
