Went by Patos side today.... banking in d gulf...

fish was biting funny today..... we only catch a lil bit....

Gulf breeze start to kick early.......

fat salmon.....
biggest ancho we ever caught.....

Patos have all kind of thing , at different times during the year;

salmon, cro-cro, shark, catfish, ancho, sometimes bashine, red fish, cutlass,

we caught the ancho in 320ft deep water.

seaweed situation in manzanilla/mayaro yesterday

there were 4 backhoes also picking up seaweed to load into trucks

seaweed so thick that you sinking down trying to walk through it


feel i going next weekend with a truck to pick up some though, seaweed real useful for building up your soil

I don't think seaweed has remotely enough salt to turn soil sodic, that's salt marsh territory. If you pulling it straight out of the wash, you should probably give it a rinse I suppose if you're using it on confined plants such as in pots etc. I believe there's an initial nitrogen depletion due to rapid decomposition by the indigenous soil fauna.

Yeah the gulf has sargasso too, I was trolling the other day and the hardbait keep getting fouled up.

Yall realise how good seaweed actually is for the ocean and beaches right.

Yuh just have to let it do its thing and it will be gone in ah timin.

North wasnt bad wit the seaweed though...it had spots where seaweed was thick an spots with none...all the bocas them hav it thick...ah small catch from yesterday...
