The classic situation is a vehicle in center lane on highway doing 65-70 kph and line of drivers on right lane doing 70-75 kph, left lane trucks and others doing less than 80 kph (note I am in the center lane behind Mr 65-70kph).
The dynamics sometimes gets a bit comical and even a little scary if the vehicle in front of me limits my vision and the driver touching brakes regularly.
This really from time to time has made the driving experience a little 'sketchy'.
Several times this happened to me... I find it very unpredictable to overtake when it is necessary. Several times vehicles moving in the lane left or right of me forget I'm there and they proceed to switch lanes and nearly make contact. The law is the law but I can say without a doubt driving on the highway is quite challenging now. I can't read the drivers on the road now once I hit the highway with all the indecisive lane changes! I try to minimize my time on the highway and started passing through Santa Cruiz to get into town even though it may take a bit more time to reach my destination from time to time.

Yep!

But no biggie otherwise......well except for the 65kph Navaras in the right lane......
Need less concentration and skills to drive at 80kph. I don't like it but we have to remember there are some folks with questionable driving skills and logical thinking sharing the roads with us.

Quite a few people in this thread not understanding this. 80kph is very slow, yes. We agree on this. But there are way too many ignorant and illogical drivers on our roads for us to want the speed limit raised "jus so". It has to be reviewed, but before that, it must be enforced. As much as many of us could probably handle 120kph+ speeds, there are many on the roads who CANNOT and would still drive at that speed. I find the drive on the highways to be much calmer now.

Constantly look in my mirrors like as if I was being chased. U never know what will happen or encounter. Made me stressful and I know it was affecting me personally. Eyes tearing up due to adrenaline rush. It was a pain to take over. Now it is calming to drive , easier to control your car on the road.less stress and other stuff to worry about.
