It's about time the police do that. That is what they do in developed countries. You are impeding the flow of traffic making a bad situation for everyone even worse. You want to slow down, good, the police will give you plenty of time to macco and take pics and selfies while you wait for your ticket.

Also... the police telling a driver to move along home and the driver actually listening? What country you really living in? If a Trini want to macco, they'll take their cool time and firetruck the police; now if they see police sharing tickets to rubber neckers, then they'll move along.

It's a cumulative effect though. One car will slow down for a few seconds causing the second car to slow down, causing the third etc. etc. each car slowing down adds a few seconds wait time to the car behind. With the car behind, it takes a couple of seconds at best to react to the car in front and then move with it. Within a few cars, maybe as few as a dozen, you've added more than a minute to the wait time.

Taking the picture takes less than a second for the camera to do. The stupid humans behind the lens though take far longer. Decide to macco, decide then to take a pic, take out phone, unlock screen, click on camera app wait on app to load (Blu/Me2 phone nah.), focus, take pic.

Looking thru this thread...most of the cars involved seem to be gtr, evo 1 thru 10, sti and multitudes of turbo charged vehicles. Insurance rates should be higher for these.
