Bayern's injuries up front killed them yes..wha u go do...d 2nd offside goal knock the stuffing out of the players...its really a mismatch with a tired set of legs going up against a fresh barca...

Chelsea...as i said before....they have the experience, esp in Europe...don't be surprised if they take the game...so said so done!

As for those talking about Torres...on form he would walk into any team in the world...including Utd...and Utd fans never hated either Berba or Tevez as they were always interested in getting them...

When SAF showed interest Torres said he wasn't ready to move from Atletico just yet and needed another year..the next year he went out and got tevez, Nani and Anderson, so liverpool were given a straight shot...

Agreed about a Rooney-Torres partnership, vision and power mixed with skill and finesse...

for real...i think SAF will go for benzema and ribery in de off season and not take the option on tevez...nani hasn't progressed at all but i will still give the benefit of the doubt to anderson...i still see him as scholes replacement but he need to score some goals..ribery to replace either ronaldo

Won't get Benzema...the guy has no interest whatsoever of going to England, and just signed another contract extension...
May see him go for Ribery to play on the left...Tosic isn't progressing fast enough atm to push for a first place spot...Park can't score goals...
Nani is just inconsistent...he has his games but also dissapoints alot sometimes...

Anderson has been plagued by injuries this year...and i think more than anything he and Nani have been troubled by the loss of Queiroz...

Like you i see it hard for SAF to pay 30m for a 3rd choice striker who isnt playing very well...the next target is the big question...i can see Santa Cruz maybe?

santa cruz...nah man...remember he have height with berba already, if anything its the midfield that need re-inforcing, not forgetting possebon to come thru as well, and we've already been introduced to macheda, and manucho can come back...the defence is in good shape with the da silva twins to come thru

Santa Cruz not for height but rather target/finsihing ability...Berba isn't good at headers anyway...
Doubt the midfield really needs enforcing...rembr Hargro coming back...plus Gibson whose doing alot better than Possebon recently...was a real star in the Carling Cup again this year...
The back prolly needs one more centre half for completeness...we're missing Brown atm, and hopefully Fabio will get another chance on Saturday...

Btw i find the 'pool supporters quiet... :lol:
