Plausible reason for the BS handling of the matter is the hard part.
Plausible dont mean that they can admit to it.
I do not think that the meeting had much to do with the fuel.
It really is way to much janjat in terms of the meeting to deal with a load of fuel.
Flights are easier to monitor in this airspace than isolating a call or email or a small quick trip across the main.
Other things were dealt with.....still waiting on the exit from the PM.

If you are interested in the truth-and are so inclined...you should really look at the timeline on the Section 34 issue.
There is a material difference between what was passed in the lower house on Nov 18 2011 and what the UNC cabinet approved on Aug 16 2012, and then was then proclaimed.
In 2012 the UNC cabinet approved Section 34 as modified by Volney.
If the facts are different please show...and we can discuss the facts.

The bar for journalist is pretty low. I mean if Rhoda Bharath is one and gets invis from Min of Com to press conferences then basically anyone with a keyboard can be one.

You correct . H Val. Knee pull out section 34 out of the wider laws that were supposed to be promulgated and rushed that through. He probably didn't want to return whatever he received as an advance .
The fact remains that the Senate and the parliament were derelict in their duty and care in checking what they approved. Helen Drayton even apologized for her role in the matter and said it was careless of her . The PNM got outsmarted and that's why I said they were incompetent .
It was supposed to be only enacted after all supporting mechanisms were completed .

The Rio Treaty, otherwise known as the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance, is an agreement between countries in the Western Hemisphere as part of a mutual defence system.
The treaty provides for mutual assistance if an act of aggression threatens the peace of the Western Hemisphere."
