^ Yup...honours pretty much even at the end of the session.

On a side note I know in England there is some controversy about slow over rates in the current Eng Pak series (Alex Hales the English opener refunded a fan 10% of his ticket cost for slow over rate). WI bowl 23 overs in that session. That's pretty slow going.

In every good team there is a measure of resilience. WI approach in counteracting that resilience will determine their success in the match. They seem to be losing grip...by lunch tomorrow they have to get back into a position of control.

West Indies T20 squad
Andre Fletcher, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite (capt), Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Evin Lewis, Jason Holder, Johnson Charles, Kieron Pollard, Lendl Simmons, Marlon Samuels, Samuel Badree, Sunil Narine

Squad still looks strong although Sammy was left out, Ramdin was also dropped so no specialist keeper...Narine and Pollard return.

nicholas pooran should have been selected ahead of jason holder, we know what holder is capable of and is he gonna make the side ahead of the other seam bowling allrounders in the side. The only "weakness" in the current WI t20 setup, in my opinion, is the absence of a genuine spin bowling allrounder.

Holder is not an outside the box captain tactically, but possessed good leadership skills. I think this has been WI problem for too long. Lara...a good captain that lacked critical human resources.

Imo its better to go hard at the opposition and lose compared to just Sitting back and waiting for something to happen.

Ashwin's batting average is 34.87 before this Test.
Against WI his batting average is 66.57 (All his hundreds have been scored against us)

Suffice to say he loves batting against the WI!!!

would have expected a breakthrough by now
anything over 400 is trouble

if india decides to use the players they have in the caribbean against us in theT20, i really cant see them winning

History would show that a decent captain in a performing 11 would out weigh an excellent captain in a performing 10 generally speaking.

^ yup emrit showed exactly that in his run with guyana, up until the finals though

WI needs an attack minded captain, not one who will fold up just wait to die
Someone who is willing to take a gamble when the time arises
Holder is far from that, rotation of bowlers and field settings just tell the opponent take what you want
