actually sometimes non-original can be better. the photive t3i internal battery lasts much longer than the original canon battery.

it has extremely good reviews searchingone, so i think you're safe with it. (i don't personally have experience with it)

Seriously though, reviews reviews reviews. If I see a single bad review on a 3rd party item that's inexplicable it better be seriously cheaper than a used OEM one for me to consider it.

Zeikos aftermarket grips are better than original Nikon grips for the D90. Very snug fit and no play. I have not researched other models or bought anything else though.

I have a Aputure Grip that I got on Ebay on my 7D came with 2 Batteries and have had no problems at all it's been on the Camera from the day I got it over a Year and a half now .

My t2i has a third party grip on it with intervalometer etc. It's about 3 years old and no issues. My 5d has the original canon grip and I hardly feel a difference between the 2 in terms of build quality, butthe canon does feel better made by a small margin.
