hey guys looking for some help...went budget marine but they didnt have it...

i'm looking for a drainplug for the back of my boat. Now there is the one with threading that just screws on and there is another one.

My one works like this.. the hole at the back is through and through with no threading. there is a rubber piece with a nut that when you tighten the bolt, the rubber compresses, which causes it to expand outwards, sealing the hole....don't know what you call it but i hope my explaination was good enough.

Anyone know where sells or where i can check for this...preferably pos and environs...Much thanks

You could get it made in an hour by Ali's machine shop in Peakes. Peakes has the brass plug type, but if the hole in yours is straight through you need one with a shoulder. There is one type called a captive drain plug that you can drain and not lose the plug.

Ice cold Hershey's rules! Don't forget I can just drive anywhere and throw the yak in so most if it is pre planning 5 min on whether to take shrimp or bonito or both.

Troll Yes I have, I get strikes but haven't landed anything big yet but I use spoons not live bait as yet.

If I subscribed to the channel maybe, I only have flow basic as I'm on Netflix or amazon prime and hbo digital, flows quality sucks too much but I watch it on YouTube to.

La Brea Jetty

Image

Jetty at La Brea, a boat is needed to reach to the end of the jetty siince the majority of it has been broken down.

Species Often Caught : Grande Ecaille, Salmon, Snapper, Bachine, Grunt, Cro Cro, Sapatay, Cavalli, Cat Fish.

Species Sometimes Caught : Power, Moon Shine, Carite, King Fish, Boshay, Carangas.

Bauxite Factory, Carenage

[img]http://trinifishing.webs.com//P280611_14.04[02].JPG[/img]

The small area is immediately after the bauxite factory (Alcoa). There's about 100 feet of space to fish while standing on the sea wall. Fishermen sometimes set a net to catch bait fish which in return will attract other fish to prey. Sometimes the catches here can be very big.

Species Often Caught : Red Fish, Pag, Salmon, Grunt.

Species Sometimes Caught : Bachine, Lipi, Stingray.
Williams Bay, Carenage (Almond Trees & Benches)

[img]http://trinifishing.webs.com/P280611_14.03[03].JPG[/img]

Image

Located on the West Coast of the Island just after The Bauxite Factory.

Species Often Caught : Red Fish, Pag, Salmon, Ancho, Cutlass Fish, Cavalli, Catfish, Stingray, Grunt, Bachine.

Species Sometimes Caught : Banaan, Ballyhoo, Fowlfish, Melwish, Boshay.
Anchorage Bay, Chaguaramas

[img]http://trinifishing.webs.com/P280611_13.59[02].JPG[/img]

The rocky bay just before the entrance to Anchorage. Lots of room to fish and cars are parked right to the edge for your comfort and security.

Edge is very rocky so lots of sinkers and hooks will be needed.

Most of the catches here are relatively small but there are those once in a blue moon moments when something huge can be landed. If you love Cutlass Fish, then this is the place for you. The most likely reason why fishing can be hard at this location is because the cutlass Fish scare away the other species with their shark like teeth.

Species Often Caught : Cutlass Fish, Red Fish, Cavalli, Pag, Cat Fish.

Species Sometimes Caught : Barracuda, Bachine, Grouper.

Salt Factory, Chaguaramas

Almost to the end of the road just past Power Boats. The space is small and lines get stuck often. Big Fish usually feed at this location because of the depth of the water. Lines sometimes get stuck depending on the current in the water.

Species Often Caught : Pag, Red Fish, Lipi, Bachine, Cutlass Fish.

Species Sometimes Caught : Cavalli, Tarpon, Power, Cro Cro, Grouper.

Maqueripe Bay

[img]http://trinifishing.webs.com/P280611_13.34[02].JPG[/img]

On the bridge just after the second CDA post in Chaguaramas on the right hand side of the road there is a sign that says Maqueripe Bay Road. Turn into that road & drive straight down and you will arrive at the car park.

The Bay which is ideal for swimming and of course, FISHING! In the background are three platforms and some rocks after it on which most if not all of the fishing is done.

Dolphins can be seen jumping at a distance occassionally.

Ideal time to fish is between the break of dawn hrs until................ especially when the tide is right.

Species Often Caught : Red Fish, Pag, Grunt, Cavalli, Grouper, Parrot Fish, Eel.

Species Sometimes Caught : Lipi, African Pompano/Carang, Gar Fish.

Manzanilla

Image

Located on the east coast and can be accessed through Sangre Grande or Mayaro.

Species Often Caught : Cavalli, Pompano, Permit, Melwish, Zel Wan, Stingray, Chuf Chuf, Catfish.

Species Sometimes Caught :, Salmon, Lipi, Power, Cro Cro, Boshay, Mullet.

Mayaro Beach

Image

The beach just after Manzanilla Beach on the eastern side of the island. Fishing here is now very slow and frustrating with the most common catches being Cat Fish. The reason for the reduction of fish from this shore is because of overfishing by the means of 'pullin seine.' However below is the list of species that usually inhabit this shore.

Species Often Caught : Zel Wan, Melwish, Grunt, ButterFish, Cavalli, Cat Fish, Stingray.

Species Sometimes Caught : Salmon, Pompano, Permit, Carite.

Damien Bay

Image

Located about 3 mins after Tyrico Bay on the Northern end of the island. Look out for a side street on the left going down a very steep slope. Takes you to a very secluded bay with deep waters.

Warning: Some vehicles need to be towed back up the steep hill because of its inability to go up on its own.

Species Often Caught : Cavalli, Grunt, Salmon, Pompano, African Pompano, Stingray.

Species Sometimes Caught : Pag, Redfish, Guitar Fish, Tarpon, Cro Cro, Barracuda

Tyrico Bay

Image

Located just after Maracas Bay on the Northern end of the island about 1 minute drive.

Species Often Caught : Cavalli, Butter Fish, Zel Wan, Melwish, Stingray.

Species Sometimes Caught : Ancho, Redfish, Guitar Fish, Tarpon, Cro Cro.
