Shoot, I didn’t think to check there. I ended up buying a cheapo $50 Westinghouse to use for the hour. I have some work to do on my car this weekend that will take me into the night to finish that’s why I needed it. But I will be buying the one MG man posted. Thanks all…

Looking for paint remover to remove bright aluminium oil paint from a metal surface. Need something to work like brake fluid on paint but brake fluid is not an option. I'm seeking a chemical alternative as opposed to sand blasting etc

it has paint strippers selling

i bought a gallon to use on a oil drum i was turning into a bbq grill

when you paint it on, the paint raises up and you can scrape it off in junks very easily

Most auto-paint shops have strippers selling

There is the trinity in the can, works great

But it have one they sell in a green "rum bottle" dont recall the brand, but the thing melts off paint effortlessly

Hey 2nrs. Have a unique application needing a long sds extension or even a 2.5" earth auger that can drill into about 3 feet deep inside of a 3" pvc pipe.

Sizing proving hard to find. Any recommendations for rental?

i once made a 3” auger
cut some pieces of flat steel and welded to a pipe and just turned it by hand
in soft dirt is was easy to go a couple feet by hand and throwing some water in the hole

You can either buy an extension or cobble one from steel rod or tube. SDS+ extensions are about $1000 for 18 inches at SSL.

You will easily find the ¼" hex-shank square driver bit. Most electrical suppliers that sell Klein or Greenlee will have have a square tip screwdriver for use in electrical panels.

There are different sizes. No. 2 is the most common.

Some of those AC places have a 7 in one screwdriver that carries a bit like this. Bonus you get three nut drivers, size 1 and 2 flat and Phillip head, the square head and a valve removal tool.

Shop-Vac or Stanley. They're both more or less the same for home user level. I use a 2.5 gallon, 2.5hp Shop-Vac for car cleaning and it's small, powerful and portable in one hand with an extension cord.

Only thing is see if they have a regular supply of the bags too. For covid the Shop-Vac had supply problems and I think they closed down manufacturing in USA and moved to China. But you can get the bags on Amazon reliably if you can't find it local.

I would say shop-vac also

Cuz a vacuum without service parts is a waste of time

You must be able to get the filters, bages etc easily

Bhagwansinghs and homestore (in the east) carry lots of bags and extension etc for shopvac

Anyone know where sells these batteries.
The brand doesn't matter, but has to be size 123 and 3V.

Have this for sale for $4000 negotiable if anyone interested. Probably used it twice. Bought it when I was doing renovations. Check it out on YouTube to see its capabilities.
