Well actually the government sold the plant to a company called niquan earlier this year....so we will see how it goes...more opportunity arising for people who looking for jobs..

Well that is news to me and I'm sure for the rest of the country but hey what ever creates jobs im for. As usual the government doing things in secret

Well niquan is goin to be looking for a full staff..ops..mech..e&i..engineers...etc...also jokhan was the contractor who got the contracts for piping works etc....so u cud look out for when dey hiring....

Well they gave jokhan a 2year contract so...to complete the rest of the plant/repairs....

Been hearing and looking out for GTL a couple years now. So I guess it's good that it finally getting off the ground.

So just heard that the company that owns the most plants in point lisas estate is calling back almost all their retrenched workers...m2 is being restarted and m4 is being turnaround so i guess things are looking up for the boyz in blue....but hears the twist workers are being called back and they are hiring them on contract...but same pay as before...same benefits....makes me wonder wat they are up too...

Well for now at least they have jobs even though it's contract. It is easier to get rid of contract workers because the contract can be terminated but permanently employed workers have to be paid severance

So I was speaking to someone from LNG he says that month end he would know wether or not he has a job or not. Now here is the kicker since shell takeover people has been going home left right and centre from all departments. There is no vsep or substantial severance only what the government mandates that they pay.

Word is the germz got through with they gas plant....ngc allowing the transport of raw materials through there piping net work....
