How did he end up on that side of the pole? Is that a merging lane or something?

Saw it this morning (west bound on the Beetham at sea Lots) and did a triple take. A true WTF moment. That is on the pavement.

Maybe a tner CSi can give an explanation.

Big accident by gasparillo overpass. A vehicle run off the road and crash into the light pole. Happened around 4:45 am. Just pass back and ttec still disconnecting the power lines so the vehicle could be removed.

Speed kills... more speed kills more. :| Rain falling and the road wet. But the speed.

Four people have died in a crash on the Solomon Hochoy Highway.

Police said they do not yet know the identity of the deceased.

The four were in a white Nissan Xtrail travelling along the south bound lane of the highway when around 5.30 a.m. during heavy rainfall, the vehicle lost control and it slammed head on into a utility pole.

Police said an electrical transformer fell on the vehicle and it began burning.

When officers of the highway patrol units responded they discovered the bodies of the four occupants.

Police and fire officers have responded to the scene, and are seeking the assistance of TTEC technicians to safely remove the fallen transformer before they approach the vehicle.

The electricity supply has been disrupted in surrounding areas.
