Wasn't taking sides in da ENG vs SA match but glad ENG won. Only because ah find d umpiring was unfair towards ENG. Especially how Hales geh teif out. Anyhow...

BIG BIG MATCH TOMORROW! IND vs PAK. Hoping for another home soil upset.

one day cricket is dead, ent?

Daz like asking why football have premier league, FA cup and by extension champions league.
Every version has a different significance.
T20, Test and ODIs are different just like champions league and league football. I guess you might have to explain your question a bit further but for the record, ODI cricket is far from dead. Ppl nowadays just prefer entertaining cricket which is mostly found in T20s.

because the premier league is a national club league for England, and champions league as it has been for over 60 years is a pan-european club competition. i don't get the point nor the analogy. it like the Sheffield Shield in Australia, it's a national competition for Australia... but since there is only one FIFA World Cup, and cricket is a smaller sport commercially than football, then having four competitions for international teams only spreads thin the share of monies and sponsor interest.

Tournament looking real open atm. Kohl showed some real class today. Those offside shots were true batting and not vupping.

With boy....Afghanistan giving these big teams a run for their money.....I hope they don't beat embarrass the west Indies.......when we play them.....
But Afghanistan country has gone thru so much with the war and they still manage to put out a cricket team.....that's amazing in its own right....
Wonder how a game like USA vs Afghanistan would go down
