Rockstar North wrote:Today we're proud to announce that the critically-acclaimed and record-breaking Grand Theft Auto V is coming this fall to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.
Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.
The new generation upgrades also extend to Grand Theft Auto Online, an ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe. Rise through the criminal ranks by banding together to complete Jobs for cash, purchase properties, vehicles and character upgrades, compete in traditional competitive modes, or create your own content to play and share with the Grand Theft Auto community.
All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available for the PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One and PC with much more to come. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC.
Grand Theft Auto V for PC will also feature a video editor designed for advanced movie-making.

Guys my computer is not booting up, the cpu fan comes on, the board powers up, but no display, no boot beeps ...looks like it isn't booting up. I tried different ram sticks in it, same result, i don't know if the processor or the motherboard is toast. The processor is a phenom x3 HD8450WCJ3BGH and the board is a ASRock N86-s ucc. No visual damage on either one.
Any suggestions on how to go about troubleshooting it further? or should i just junk the whole thing and upgrade to a new mobo/processor/ddr3 setup?
Thanks.

Have you tried removing the Ram and checking for beeps? If you not getting any, most likely its the mobo that died. Also remove the graphics card and any other peripheral devices connected to the computer to eliminate the mobo as an issue.
Spitfir3 wrote:^^if you aren't getting display with onboard graphics either and you ruled out the ram then mostly likely its something with the board i doubt its the processor as those things almost never fail
what you can do is remove the board from its case give it a clean then try powering it with just the processor and ram and see if it boots up because it could be a grounding issue

sounds like fun, but iv out grown spending thousands of dollars on a PC when bare minimum run games very well..
u see that z97 and 4790k cpu you want to buy, man i wish u all the best, over prices and not nearly needed, unless you plan to benchmark.

If the board is fried I'd get a new mobo to use ddr3 ram and a faster processor. Some ok combo deals out there too.

You can get a board like this and save some money if your cpu and other components are fine:

Watch the cpu compatibility list here. And u can upgrade straight up to an 8 core whenever.
Used ddr2 or ddr3 ram depending on cpu. Cheap too.
