1) i am/was not gonna put them for sale on a thread

2) i not gonna pay 600 for powerseller status to make a quick sale for livestock

3) i just mentioned it here incase a few tuners are interested. Its not a "for sale" post

4) duck is food

Yeah, it's really simple, just cut your fat into your flour cold, give it a rough knead just to make things come together and bake one time. You can prep everything in 5 mins. Lots of great recipes online, I made some pan biscuits one time but they came out like rote lol.

Where can I get 5-spice powder? I checked hilo and all I saw was all-spice and all-purpose seasoning.

Any chinese mini mart or pricesmart. Chief makes a mix as well as badia. Don't use too much, a little goes a long way.

Alright... how do I get fluffy/dry Pelau rice?

I have the colour, flavour & taste on par but the texture is not what I want it to be. Have tried pot only, pot then oven, oven then pot then oven...fanks in advance for the suggestions

Have you tried extensively washing/rubbing the rice before putting it in the pot?

This usually helps to remove the excess starch content off the rice surface (you'll see the water get murky then clear). This allows the rice the not bind together and helps maintain the grainy texture.

Jamaicans do the same thing for their rice and peas.
