Need a vent solution for a monoclad roof. It's a shed type section with very shallow pitch. It's almost flat. There is no ceiling under it so the heat is unbearable. Any ideas?

they have roof vents selling
there was a powerseller here SSl (it a hardware in San-Fernando )
he actually brought in one for me when i messaged him a few years ago.
there are different sizes pipes and there are some flat ones also so it not sticking up
Just some examples
http://www.copperlab.com/copper-roof-exhaust-vent.html
you can make it locally to fit the space between the two ridges - and use the same material so you do not have electrolysis taking place to cause the material to rot.
the low profile vents do not stick out and look awkward

not ready to do the ceiling yet. In the mean time that room gets very hot and using it for storage in the mean time.

Unscrew the sheets, put radiant barrier, then screw them back on.

you can still make a cheap ceiling, use the same radiant barrier and screw it to the underside of the purlin so you get an effective ceiling the thickness of the purlins.
I saw this in a warehouse, they used strips of wood screwed over the plastic radiant barrier to keep it up against the purlin.

the venting is the best idea however, I have an attic breeze solar powered fan but never got around to using it

Question for those who specialize in decking...what's the average cost of a decking with measurements 23.5m x 11.50m....taking into consideration I have galvanize( got this free) so no need for deck pan...looking at a labor and material quote...

Noticed my parents had them years ago, visited a couple months ago and they seem to be holding up well, looks like new still

Do you have contacts for these tile men? I'm actually looking for someone to do 3 bathrooms and a ground floor.

The Styrofoam is coated with a hardened concrete finish. I have them on all my window externals. I had them done by a company from Potato trace, La Romain. They are light weight and does not require drilling into your wall to be anchored. In terms of durability, if its accidentally hit or something heavy rests on it, it will damage but the company repairs it for free.
Cost, for a 4'x4' window was $1000 (installed by supplier) al around.

By decking do you mean for a concrete floor? Is the beams in place? The cost will be more for cantilevered spaces Can advise if there is more details ..........

He should explain better,It sounds like he wants to put up RC columns and beams, and put the galvanised sheets on it and then cast the floor, since he seems to want to replace the deckpan with galvanised sheets, but using sheets will mean that he has to build a complete decking and cast floor and beams together. The second way means he has to use steel rebars in the floor and also bracing(whalers) and props, which will increase the cost to more than the savings on the deckpan.

If you use ply instead of the sheets you end up having a smooth finish, that if done properly will save you from having to do a ceiling downstairs, unless you planning to do a ceiling with shapes and patterns.
I generally use ply and sometimes get four buildings out of one set . Only when I'm doing steel buildings, I do ceiling downstairs.

it will be smooth but sometimes you get the woodgrain image in the concrete
which could be mudded over to be smooth
