In this case it's third party. However insurance companies pay out as long as it's not deliberate on your part. They even pay if it's maliciously set by someone else. Flood claims are commonplace. Last year hundreds of claims were paid for the floods. This year it has started off slowly. Beacon had quite a lot last year, and they even paid two people whose coverage had expired. Just as goodwill.
