The Ministry of Works and Transport says that in the execution of its mandate to deliver road infrastructure, it has accelerated its road rehabilitation programme, and members of the public can look forward to the presence of road paving exercises being conducted in communities throughout Trinidad.
Rohan Sinanan, Minister of Works and Transport recently conducted visits to areas where work is currently being executed, beginning with El Socorro Extension #2 on Wednesday.
On Friday Sinanan was joined by Camille Robinson-Regis, Minister of Social Development and Member of Parliament for Arouca/Maloney for a tour of ongoing road works at Everglade Avenue, Maloney, and he will continue visits in the upcoming weeks.
Road rehabilitation programmes are currently ongoing in the following communities:
• Southern Main Road, Otaheite
• Ariapita Avenue, Port of Spain
• Bellbird Avenue, Maloney
• Kingbird Drive, Maloney
• Reservoir Hill, Point Fortin
• Eight Street, Lopinot/Bon Air West
This is why we live in stupid country filled with stupid PNM people.maj. tom wrote:But how come they couldn't do that the last 5 years too? All these massive crater holes all over in every road. And it's just shitty patch work or a superficial top layer; within a year the potholes return in the same places and get worse.
Driving on the back roads in Chaguanas all the way up Felicity to Pierre Road is like a dodge fight in a NES game.
Driving on the Southern Main road from Couva to Curepe should be a Grand Tour special in 2020.
Rohan say PNM ppl need to feel good about themselfs bro.hydroep wrote:Fixing roads doh bring pride.
Dais why we should all be glad to be making the sacrifice to drive (and commute) on dilapidated roads and mash up our cars (and backs) so that our scarce resources can be used to fix-up buildings for our most humble and honest leaders.
Grate is the Pee oN deM...
I can wear what ever colour I want. I paid my taxes and PNM has a right to provide for every citizen and not only their Trini African voters.rspann wrote:You wearing all other colours and playing games with the PNM , no paving for you.
PNM for PNMs.
