Whenever i boot the PC for an hour or 2 the pc shows signs of sticking (mouse sticking) and then all of a sudden the monitor goes black and says 'No Signal'... The CPU remains on and running smooth (no overheating etc)... Then when i leave the PC off for another hour or 2 it comes back on normal and the monitor works... The monitor is about 3 - 4 years old... What could be the cause of this?...

Did you get this sorted out...Im having similar problems with a Nvidia 780, the older 460 works fine on the same system.
System specs are: i7 3770k processor, 16gd Corsair Vengeance 4No @ 4gb each ram, Asus p8 z77-v lk motherboard, and the nvidia gtx 780, corsair hx750 power supply. I originally had a 660ti that exhibited similar problems and returned it and went for the 780 but now this to is doing the same thing. Am i that lucky to have gotten two bad cards?

Did you check the temps on the card before it cut off ?

Exactly. Download "EVGA Precision X" and check the temp on the card. Sounds like it's overheating and shutting down to protect itself. Either the fans on the card are not spinning or it's in a case with no proper airflow in a room that is hot already.

45-49c on the liquid cooled gtx kinda high.
You overclocked it?
Was expecting it to be lower since it's just a single gpu newer generation card.
What the idle temps are?

Hmmm....Idle is 30-32. I figured it was acceptable as the room the pc is kept in is actually quite warm. No ac and windows closed up.
The 49c was the peak temp during benchmarking for 4hrs. 45c was the avg.
Played metro last light all day sunday with peak temp of 44c.
Card runs 1100mhz core clock.
Let me know what i should be getting, bearing in mind higher than normal ambient temps.

Those temps are similar to mines when I not running A/C, you all good. On another note the tubing got discolored really quickly, what brand is that?

Thinking of purchasing:
But I have my eyes on this

iM@st@1 wrote:@ ismithx He using distilled water
I using the same tubing, it suppose to fix the clouding issues but I can't tell with mines tho cause it colored. All I using is distilled and the silver bullet. Small ting tubing easy to replace.
