In the days of Kerry Packer 91977/78) when the WI team was only interested in chasing after the p....y, Packer called a meeting with the team.

"Indeed, Holding has not forgotten how Packer read out the riot act in the dressing room after West Indies lost a game which they should have won had they played more responsibly. Pace bowler Andy Roberts in the documentary says the Australian business tycoon threatened to send the West Indies back home if they couldn’t get their act together. “Definitely, definitely,” said Holding when asked whether he remembered Packer’s tongue-lashing that night. He continued: “He wasn’t pleased at all. If the West Indies team weren’t successful playing good cricket that would be the end of it. It (WSC) wouldn’t have worked. It was important for him that the West Indies performed and the cricket had to be good.” It was."

Best line of defense should have been attack when they came out this morning.

Ramdin needs to start thinking outside the box. As the captain he needs to promote an atmosphere of self belief. Making gutsy decisions to win is a nice place to start. All the years of watching wi cricket nothing really has changed...they still look like a bunch of puss**s with the exception of a few. They may still loose with this new approach. The least they can do is play man while loosing.

So BAN beat IND today by 79 runs
They made 307 batting first against a full strength squad in front of their home crowd
They are now 7th on the ODI table above WI (8th) and PAK (9th).

BAN also need to win just one of their next 5 ODI to make it to Champions Trophy
(where the top 8 ranked teams will play).
As it stands now, either WI or PAK won't make Champions Trophy.

Wha allyuh tink bout da?

Is it just me that think the CPL league is a total black box? It has almost no accountability.

Do they have any disclosure policy?

No one knows the details behind the red steel deal with Khan. Just like we didn't know the details behind the deal with lycamobile or why it was abandoned.

Ramdin's captaincy is very questionable.

Yea bai. Pollard had a point to prove. Ramdin could learn a thing or two.
Would really like to know what are his motivators as WI captn and being a WI player.

That's good! No dark horse business!!!! This scenario creates an image of those kids who believe that they can skylark throughout the term...put down a cram session at the end of the term and mash up finals.
